That's pretty neat, though isn't the email called suckhead cause it's literally your shitty, last minute, Camarilla assigned email address? Idk I just wanted to mention that.
1. Did you update the filepath within the block if you aren't using the UP? 2. Has the indentation been perfectly preserved? 3. Does your mod actually have a haven_pc.txt file to overwrite?
How peculiar. I just checked to see if the uploaded code was corrupted, it isn't. I know for sure that this code works because I gave it to Wesp for the UP.
When you say "it's not working", do you mean that the email username (suckhead) isn't updating? Can you play the game normally, otherwise?
I'll need to have a look at your log for further debugging. Create a "logs" folder in the UP mod root (Unofficial_Patch/logs) and add -condebug to the game launch parameters. Start a new game, enter a new player name, skip the intro, skip the tutorial, then save your game once you enter your haven. Check your emails, then save again. Quit the game. Copypaste the contents of the console.log file in the logs folder here so I can take a look at it.
