    I fixed Many textures and others bugs that i created.
    I have tried to balance out the pack properly, Skyline is still whimsy but i tried my best.
    Please try the revised back and report back to me about Crashes. thank you.

    This mod really helps this game be so much better. Only issue I have so far is the crashing, especially when you switch the city hubs, I did manage to eventually get to Santa Monica for the ship quest by just trying the cab until it worked, but I am now failing to return Dowtown, so I am soft locked for the time being.

    Edit: It seems that picking the dialogue option 2 with the cab reduces the frequency of the crashes here.

    Feed problem doesn't seem fixed by the editing of the config file in the last version. Dunno what has happened, don't even need an answer, only wanted to report, just in case. Deleting user.cfg also doesn't help anymore, as doesn't removing the whole folder. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I change the keybind, but I had no problem changing the keybind in vanilla or unofficial patch, this is a first for me.

    ETA: Changing the keybind in the config BEFORE starting the game for the first time seems to have fixed it for now, but I haven't checked yet if it will stick. Sometimes things like this reset after closing the game. Changing config seems unstable in general, for some reason: while the keybind change worked, changing the game volume and subtitles value to 1.000000 didn't work.

      the feeding issue is not my mod's problem in it's original issue it's actually the unofficial patch.
      i only know what i wrote on the FAQ as i gathered data from players (Config.cfg not user.cfg):


      • Do: No Audio? bgmvolume "1.000000" Want Subtitles? cl_captions "1.000000"  Not Able to Feed? rename the binding "vm_feed" to "+feed" - Change all in Config/Config.cfg and "Read Only" the file! Lock it back up!


      Check to see on the unofficial patch if there's an update for that or an explanation if this fix doesn't work. if there is tell me i'll update it here.
      i only wrote it because SO MANY people complained- i thought it's important.

      and update if the key changes back, i'll note that if it works

    Nvm, resolved it.

    I have a question, I used the complete installation file. But how do I make it so there's music in the streets again or I have to reinstall and avoid installing the music all together?

      you need to not install the music. the streets with no audio is part of the sound modifications i pre-made.

    How would I play this with the mod Undisciplined Caitiff? UC has its own launcher, so when I use that to start the game, it doesn't use the textures. Tried to see what could happen if I put textures from this into UC's files, but that somehow made UC just not work anymore.

      i'm sorry i have no idea.
      the textures go into a folder called "materials" try integrating it with Vampire and not Unofficial patch.. maybe.
      if you do figure it out write me? so i can share the info with everyone else?

      So, I figured out how to combine the textures with Undisciplined Caitiff, and that was to only use the materials folder and nothing else. I also had to delete the title textures in "...materials/interface/mainmenu" because somehow, those 3 textures made the mod not work for me, even after checking the settings to see what the version says, but after deleting those 3 textures, Undisciplined Caitiff works with the improved textures.

      Just to ensure it wasn't something else, I even checked by making 2 fresh installs, one with the title textures and one without, went to settings to check the version of the mod, and in the one with the title textures, it said "Bloodlines 1.2", but the one without title textures said "Undisciplined Caitiff 1.4". I don't know how those 3 files are making the mod not work, but they are for me. It's weird.

    I am planning to install the Clan Quest mod, this mod, the unofficial patch, and the voice remaster mod. What is the order to install these 4 mods? Which mod should I install first, then the second, and so on? Thanks

    Just started a new playthrough and so far haven't encountered any bugs or crashes.

      Make sure to take breaks from all those data then. ✨ And I hope this isn't a bad time to report one too!

      I used all the retextures, but got crashes once I started the Downtown act whenever I switch hubs via Cabbie, but they're nothing I'd consider impediments while playing. The issue started whenever I switched hubs from Santa Monica to Downtown after finishing the Elizabeth Dane quest. This was definitely the stalemate among crashes. I'm using my GOG copy and Wesp's UP+ (latest ver.); the only gameplay mods I've used are the Dev0lved ENB lighting and PC Skins that I wouldn't even consider as gameplay mods? Addons maybe. They were transferred after transferring your retextures. To be thorough, I ran 3 new playthroughs but always seemed to encounter said crash after the Dane quest.

      1st playthrough: I tried patching the game's main executable with the 4GB Patch, just in case my specs can't keep up with the retextures' file size. Encountered the exact same crash when switching hubs after the Dane quest. Did not do a clean uninstall with the game.

      2nd playthrough: I uninstalled the game and reinstalled. Used the 4GB Patch, UP+, PC Skin mods, Dev0lved ENB, but did not use your 'trackerscheme.res' per instruction. 🫠 Got ambushed by the same crash.

      3rd playthrough: Did a clean uninstall and reinstalled using your NPC models and furniture retexture; the UI UX and Bigger Interaction Icons; PC Skin mods; the 4GB Patch; Dev0lved ENB; and UP+. Suffice to say, I successfully finished the game without crashes! πŸ˜„

      From the 1st to 2nd playthroughs, I always saved with my Torie standing beside Cabbie then exited the game before loading my save file to switch between hubs where my game exits automatically. The crash appears specifically after the Dane quest, I couldn't progress beyond Santa Monica but manage to enter locations exclusive to the hub.

      I am using a laptop with 32GB of RAM, 33.7GB of VM, Core i7, and GeForce RTX 3060. The PC is still new so I got 592 GB left in the drive. I'm not sure if it's the game engine that struggles in keeping up with the file sizes, but I know you're doing your best in finding workarounds--so no pressure! Programming isn't my forte but I do hope these reports help.

      "PC Skins" i see it's only like 40mb. although i don't recommend installing other skins than my own i think it ought to work fine
      many people make 4k textures thinking it's a good idea... it's not.

      OK so the switch between Downtown to Santa Monica is the Main issue after the Dane
      this means i still need to go back and "shrink" both locations until it will not crash.

      Will def try this out in a new playthrough and clean reinstall!

      As for Santa Monica and Downtown, yeah they're pretty much huge locations on their own and don't get me started on Downtown's areas *cough* like the insane underground parking garage. *cough*

      Np, I'll return with an update once I finish said task above.

      i have a feeling that once the option to go to the Dane is open there's an Extra location that is loaded with Santa monica.
      so SM is even bigger which f up things even furthur. i'll need to figure out what is that extra and what i can cut back. but overall it seems that the pack is stable! i'll probably wait another month or two for feedback and then start to modify things again.

    I'm only using this and the Unofficial Patch plus some PC reskin mods, splendid work! You really make the game 10 years younger, and I love the tasteful modern design of UIs, music and style are also really on point! And I haven't encountered any crashes or bugs so far. Thanks for keeping the game alive!

      thank you for telling me! i usually don't recommend installing other texture mods as it might make the game crash but i'm happy it's stable.

      No problem, I'm only using some simple PC swapping mods and that don't seem to cause anything major. Unfornately I have encountered a bug that's made the game completely unable to progress--when I first get out of Santa Monica and go to the downtown, and then try to go back to Santa Monica for the Elizabeth Dane quest, the game will always crash when I'm taking the cab back to SM. Not sure what's wrong, because I'm only using this overhaul and the UP 11.5+ this time and nothing else, and it doesn't crash when I switch from SM to downtown. I've tried several new starts and it keeps happening, which is a shame because everything was really smooth until that point, then I suddenly cannot continue the game. When I tried to teleport back to SM with console commands, it just wiped out my game progress, I lost all my quests as well.

      I tested a little bit and I can use console commands to teleport among hubs with no problem at all, but when I tried to use the cab to drive me to santa monica, it instantly crashes. Here's the crash log if it helps:

      Sorry the console means very little to me
      but Someone below you DID point out this exact point where this happens, specifically the elizabeth dane part.

      I recommend to try 2 options (for now until i'll try to fix it)
      load to the map you know does not crash and then sav, close the game totally and open it again.

      Santamonica has an issue with purging data so it does not work well with loading.
      You can also try to rename "Materials" folder for a moment and then do the loading, save, close the game and rename the folder back.
      but if you load and save it should work fine.

      I'll try to revise the pack furthur so this crash will not happen again. it might mean that the Dane is "added" to the santa monica map and with the hub + the dane. it's just too heavy so i might need to simplify the DANE. i'll need to think about it, thank you!

    Thank you so much for making this amazing overhaul! You clearly put in massive effort in every aspect, from the beautiful textures to the music. It also means a lot that you're responsive to the community, you're awesome ✨

    I wanted to give you some data, in case it helps you!
     
    First of all, the game is GORGEOUS with what you've done! I have an AMD Ryzen 4500U GPU. I downloaded the Unofficial Patch + Plus, I downloaded your textures and UI separately (I'm not using any other texture mods). Then I also downloaded your recommended mods for the voices remastered and the hand textures. I patched the game's executable with the 4GB patch.

    So far, my game is running flawlessly. There are no crashes!

    However, there's a few things that may be glitches that I want to mention:

    1) There are a few random textures that are seemingly low res. For example, in Santa Monica, some brick walls and The Asylum walls. Nothing immersion breaking, but it's noticeable.
    2) Although I downloaded the HD hand models on top, your cool invisible hand models are still overriding those for some reason.
    3) I'm playing as a Malkavian (I don't know if this matters) but there's some sort of "wind" effect that makes the overhead wires of streetlights move like crazy. It looks pretty cool and it doesn't bother me, but I wanted to point it out in case it's a texture glitch.
    4) On some character models, the seam between their neck and body, and their head and shoulders, is visible (for example, Smiling Jack). Again, this doesn't bother me, but it's noticeable.

    Once again, I appreciate everything you've done! I love the new textures and the new UI. Everything is so meticulous, looks amazing, and breathes new life into this fantastic game.

      3 is Wesp's addon he added this rope thing which i honestly don't like
      that's somewhere in the CFG
      but the rest is really awesome feedback.

      thank you for the info. Some textures i kept "low" res to shrink what i could BUT with that said maybe i can do them better.
      IF you can DM me pics of what you see that bothers you, i'll check out Asylum as well, i'll try to revise what i can over there.

    Loved the mod, it really refesh the game a lot, especially the characters models, BUT I'm having an immersion break bug, some building textures are misplaced and enlarged, like giant windows and details what  don't make sense

      Tks for the reply, I installed the complete version and now the textures are correct, nice work btw, just saw one bug this time, the texture of the  elevators doors in LaCroix tower are misplaced
