    Does anyone have a backup of the blood files?

    Does anyone know if this still causes extreme frame drops or if there is a suitable blood-mod alternative for vtmb?

      Since it's never got updated past ver. 1.1 of may 2022, I think we might assume it's the same way it was back then, unless the patch got updated and somehow helped this mod to function better...

    This looks amazing. Downloading now. Is it possible to add visible bullet holes and slash wounds on enemies from bladed weapons?

    Looking great, always thought the game was lacking in the blood department for a game revolving around vampires lol

    Fantastic mod !! I just want to mention that sometimes I get massive fps drops, like from 60 to 20... I'm using a RX 590 and UP 11.0, but other than that the mod works very well

      Yeah unfortunately it's a game engine limitation. I get that too with my RTX 3080. I'll try to optimize it for future release :)

    Hello, I am currently doing CQM playthrough and wondered if this is safe to use with it.  If so, is the bloodboil fix needed with it as well.  Thanks for the mod!

      The bloodboil patch isn't needed for CQM since it doesn't have the bug unlike UP 11.1

      As for the mod itself, I'm pretty sure it's safe since it only modifies particle effects and not any game data. If you wanna be safe however, just back up your particles folder, it's only like 1mb anyway

      Not at all! Also I misspoke I did that for another mod! If you want the HD HUD get it from here https://forums.planetvampire.com/bloodlines-modding/hd-hud/

      The link is right on the first post

    Looks great! Can confirm that the optional fix works with the UP, as well.
    The 'dripping' sprite looks a little odd when it's on the ground, but other than that, I love it!

      Yeah, I agree, but for the sake of variety I kept it in. If you want to change it however go to \Vampire - Bloodlines\Unofficial_Patch\particles or \Vampire - Bloodlines\Vampire\particles (if vanilla) and open bloodexplosion_spatter and replace everything in there with this code, then save.

      Particle
      {
      frames "20"
      sprite"ember3"
      size"3,1,1"
      Parent_speed"0"
      radius_speed"600,0"
      z_speed"0,-400"
      red"255"
      green"0"
      blue"0"
      color"64"
      mask"255"
      collide
      {
      decal
                      {
                              vdecal_first "decals/stains/blooda"
      vdecal_last "decals/stains/bloode"
                      }
      }
      }
