Now I have nothing against making a mod and then charging for it though I think it's a bit of a b******* thing to do but to each their own. Problem is paradox has a problem with it. the current owner of the masquerade franchise their policy states you can't charge or receive donations for mods if I'm not wrong. Which You are clearly in violation of. "-creation and publication of mods, is for strictly non-commercial purposes only, and you may not accept any fees or donations for your creation and publication of mods." Paradox policy So I would suggest release it for free or get rid of it entirely (if you want to be like that) unless you want potential cease and desist orders knocking down your door.
Edit: just checked it's also in violation of Nexus guidelines too "We further allow for users to tactfully reference/link to external donation services (e.g. Patreon) themselves, as long as no money is charged for files, updates, or modding related assistance, and no discussion of direct monetisation of mod files and/or updates is taking place." Nexus policy
Jeez, calm down. Yes, we know the TOS here, but RTGI is an add-on for Reshade. It is not specifically made for Bloodlines nor any other game here on Nexusmods. If you don't want to use it fine by us. But if you were a bit more versed in Reshade and it's components you wouldn't be yelling here!
Unless I've very likely did something wrong people look off. All characters' polygons/edges are very apparent. Don't think that's what this Reshade intended to do.
Wow if...I'm not really late for this. I stopped playing, but picked it back up. I can't say I found out how to turn that off and searching online didn't help. I didn't have much time to look in-game, since time, but will give it a go later. Hopefully you remember how to and will respond much sooner then me.
Edit: Ah it was in the ReShade settings itself as "SSR [qUINT_lightroom.fx]". Wasn't looking for "SSR". Thanks for guiding me onto the path. Though not sure if this fixes the issue I have with it enough...
After messing around it seems it's a combination of SSR, MXAO, and RTGlobalIllumination that make people look like such...ouch.
Imagine a 1 off 5$ purchase is an outrageous thing. You can literally go to the patreon sub to it, download the thign you need and unsub. It's 5 fucking dollars. You can't tell me you don't have 5$ to spare for someone who has put in hundreds of hours to make RTGI (and I don't mean the creator of this ReShade Preset).
Five dollars means nothing to the average citizen of the Glorious Coca-Cola Empire. But some one of us belong to countries with 50% inflation, 40% poverty and 2 cups in a true sport.
Pascal Gilcher who creates the RTGI add-on for Reshade does it in his free time, He works for NVIDEA he mainly worked on Ansel and FreeStyle modules of GeForce Experience, and is certainly NOT a beggar. If you own current NVIDEA hardware changes are you already running stuff made by him! Also the RTGI shader is optional for people to use.
Just letting everyone know: Any version of RTGI at 0.19 or above will work fine. You don't need 0.19 specifically. Version 0.19 introduced new features and upgrades that previous versions (0.18 and below) don't have. So like i said, using any version above 0.19 will be fine.
Very good mod with very good guide, it was super easy to install with following the steps. I had the weird issue with the artefacts on the characters too, but turning off SSR as suggested did solve the issue (it is in the Home overlay menu). Should not be ticked in by the preset imo.
I just keep getting an error with the installer saying that the ReShade setup was not successful ! d3d9.dll already exists but does not belong to reshade.
Take the existing dxgi.dll out of the game folder. Put it on the desktop for the time being, install reshade as you would. Now rename the created dxgi.dll to 3d11.dll and copy the one you put on the desktop back into the game folder.

Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know a fix?

Have I got news for you, it isn't a preset, but a shader you are paying for! Don't want to pay for that? Be my guest program your own RTGI shader!
I'm using version 0.30, works wonderful :)

What should I do?
