This 4K texture pack is a replacement for the previous one, the textures are improved using the same method as in the previous pack.
Installation is simplified, no modification of game files is required.
About 90% of all textures have been replaced. It works on the basis of Special K, created and tested for operability on a licensed version of mgra from steam.
INSTALLATION:
- Right-click on the game in your library in Steam > Manage > Browse local files.
- Place the contents of this download archive in the game folder, after unpacking the files will be 23.2 GB in size.
- Run the game in normal mode, and everything should work.
By default, the frames are removed in the normal view when moving (the frame remains when aiming), and the strokes are also removed from the screen. To return the image to the default view, you need to delete 4 files located in the folder along the game installation path (...SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\VC4\SK_Res\inject\textures): Compressed_3E60FAE5.dds, Compressed_5D9E10AA.dds, Compressed_B56A921D.dds, Compressed_F8E1C0EF.dds.
(If errors and crashes occur during startup, you can try closing the Nvidia or MSI Afterburner overlay. If you get the steam023 error, go to the dxgi.ini file and configure it [Steam.Log] No sound=true)
