Works as of 25 August 2023 along with the recent Hildir's Request update. If it helps (mostly for me), this mod works in Thunderstore (TS) as well: 1. Download DLL 2. In TS, open Settings 3. Look for "Import Local Mod" 4. Search for DLL and Open 5. Enter mod details (optional) since this is a manual import 6. Paste into Windows Explorer, edit for your TS profile name and open: %APPDATA%\Thunderstore Mod Manager\DataFolder\Valheim\profiles\your_profile_name\BepInEx\config 7. Edit "SkYMaN.ValheimMod_TeleportActivationDistanceFix.cfg" file to nominate your new "Portal Activation Distance"
YOU need to check your versions because I downloaded both and they both say Version 1.0.0 I have 70 plus mods, so Im not new to how it works, I am just making you aware that you need to place a config file into your mod in order for it to work the way you have it listed (by using the config file to change the range) Because as it stands, it is not generating one. Yes, please, move the stuff from json to config file in BepinEx/configs like all other mods do. I'd love to turn off that effect finally, but this with json files is confusing and somewhat "messy"
Hello. I'm waiting this mod since day 1. But I couldn't install fololwing your steps, cause it was very confusing for me. Maybe a better step-by-step more detailed should help me. Thank you ^^
