I saw this mod get uploaded to Thunderstore 2 weeks ago, finally decided to install and I can seem to get the random spawn location to work. Any ideas, I have it enabled in the .cfg file and I also disabled Synver Sync Death Tweaks mod as well.
I haven't worked on this mod in quite some time. There's a lot of patching to the original spawning methods that occur in this mod so I'm sure that this has changed significantly in the game code since I originally wrote it. I may take a look soon and see what I can update.
Is there any way you could add multiple sacrificial stones spread out across the map? Since I'm not a modder, I'm just wondering if that's even possible.
Just a quick comment for people trying to get this running together with Valheim-Plus: Dont.
This mod doesn't seem to work with Valheim Plus even if you disable all the sections of V+ in the config. Did a lot of testing but couldn't get it running. Works great in vanilla Valheim though. Maybe this saves some time for others.
Wished this would work on my V+ servers too, since it is a great addition to the vanilla game (even/especially for coop play) if you have find your teammates first before starting out together.
I tried to uninstall this mod. I removed the DLL and the .cfg file, but i can for the love of all that is holy not remove the intro and the bird flying my character. I've never experienced this before. How can i fix this??
Is this mod meant to move the spawn location with the boss stones? because so far the boss stones don't move from the middle of the map, only the character does

Hi. Is it possible to set spawn location based on position (pos)? I can't figure out a way to set a spawn location to where i want to, even tho i disabled random spawn location. I'm creating a server where a new player should be spawned outside gates, with a guide NPC and with some lore. I can't figure out how to set a fixed spawn location from the .cfg file.
As I understand it, an individual player may add this to their own client for a playthrough on a dedicated server that does not contain this mod. If this mod *was* added to a server, then players would also need this mod but could configure their own settings.
In order to make this mod "server side", is it as simple as enforcing the server configurations onto each client? Is this difficult to do?
Yes, to the best of my memory you can just use the mod on a non-modded server and you'd start off based on the parameters you've defined in the .cfg.
In order to make the mod server side, and to ensure that people used the mod as the server intends, I'd have add a dependency mod that could enforce that the mod be installed on the client to connect to the server and would push the parameters configured on the server to the client. I'm not 100% sure how to do it (just not something I've investigated), however I don't think it would be all that difficult. The mods that can provide that functionality are already out there, it's just a matter of taking advantage of them and adding them to this one.
The source for my mods are out there on github, so anyone that wants to take on that endeavor is more than welcome to, but I probably won't be doing any more mod work until Hearth and Home drops.
