it's a jet pack. could you set it as a Windsuit ? (cannot go up, much slower speed)

Watch the "hang glider" from the game SonOfTheForest, it's the same concept.

For those unaware, this mod no longer works with the latest update. Gotta say I miss soaring above the skies of Valheim! This mod was so sleek and well designed - integrating into the game perfectly. I liked that there was a skill element to flying and it could lead to new scenarios where if you flew poorly, you could fall, break the wings and land in uncharted, dangerous territory - it added a late game challenge where you wouldn't have a lot of equipment because you need to travel light, so you'd need to use all the tactics and skills you've learnt to survive and get back to safety. Just in case the modder who made this has retired from modding, thanks for making and sharing the mod - it was great while it lasted. I wish I'd left a comment sooner while the mod was still active. What fun memories.

Check if you have equipment and quick slots installed, there's a compatibility issue between the two mods.

Edit: Nm, looks like that post in bug reports is old. The mod hasn't been updated since february though, so it may just be out of commission for right now.

[Warning:  HarmonyX] AccessTools.DeclaredMethod: Could not find method for type Player and name OnSwiming and parameters
[Error  : Unity Log] ArgumentException: Undefined target method for patch method static void Odinflight.PlayerPatches::OnSwimmingPostfix(Player __instance)

The wings aren't equipping properly, nor can I fly, and I am unsure if the error above is the reason

Great mod and loads of fun to fly around once you get the hang of it. Will you be adding an option to adjust flight speed? It is quite fast at times.

Got the newest ver. from Thunder, its working great. Could not figure out how to contact you from there.

Below someone said they were able to upgrade the wings to lvl 4.
The Artisan table let me upgrade the wings to lvl 2.  After that is shows a lvl 3 Artisan Table needed. I can find no way to upgrade the Artisan table.

Is lvl 2 max for the wings?  Maybe im missing something. The mod rocks either way!

Absolutely awesome idea and the mod. and being this craftable only from the artisan table makes this more end-game and not OP early on, I guess.
the only problem I find this far is that it breaks way too fast! so after using it barely twice, I guess, I'm already thinking about making a several pairs of them lol. is there any way to prolong the usage? I mean it's 4 stars already, fully upgraded, but still breaks too fast :( does hitting trees or the ground like takes away the dura more?

a suggestion: maybe a separate skill-mod/option like "Flying" and levelling up gets you less stamina usage per flap or less durability used etc etc. sounds like that would be a really nice touch :)

The amount of damage the wings take is directly proportional to your speed at impact. Sounds like you're doing a lot of stopping by collision. =)

of course I do, there are trees literally everywhere xDD

I like to stop flying right before I hit something, and then start flying again as you fall to reduce fall damage.
