I really liked this mod, it was easy to activate and deactivate what you wanted and didn't want to pick up, but it stopped working, I currently use autopicker. I hope one day they update it
Firstly, love this mod! However, since it's the first mod I've ever installed into Valheim, I need to ask: Is it possible that it can interfere with hotkey combinations?
I am currently unable to use CNTRL+F1-F12, CNTRL+TAB, etc. while I'm running modded Valheim via Thunderstore Mod Manager. I only have Autopickupselector + BepInExPack Valheim installed. The host is a remote server. The problem goes away as soon as I run Valheim in Vanilla mode.
Thanks in advance for any ideas or advice that might fix this issue for me.
I have a couple of questions in hope that it will help me troubleshoot why it's acting weird all of a sudden for me.
- Is it tied somehow to the save/world? (Can it be added/removed whenever?) - Does it work instantly after I change what to/not pickup, or do I have to wait a few seconds or even restart the game?
Disclaimer: I have not played since may so I don't know how released Valheim versions since then has affected this mod.
The switches is stored in the bepinex config file when dialog is closed and should take effect pretty much instantly. It is not dependent on world save.
I've refreshed my memory and changes to the settings only work on items dropped after the change. Re-logging will also reset the autopickup state of items to what is configured.
I am having an issue which recently started to where random items get switched from 'yes' to 'no'. I've gone in and set things to how I want them and later in the game it happens again.
Hmm would love to use this mod however it does not work for me it doesn't pick up anything even though everything is set to pick up, might be conflicting with one of my other mods but nothing comes up,? Can see it in game change settings but does not work at all for me so I have to use another auto pickup one that does work but doesn't give me this may options. Let me know if I have to turn it on some how? Ty wish it worked for me looks great anyways. Also wish everything was in full alphabetical order.
I'll try that and see I do use food in V,B,N but don't think i touched it, can oyu change the toggle somehow?, but I will try and let you know ty for replying :)
Yeah tried again still nothing, weird all other mods work everything fine no conflicts, and my old auto-pickup works fine too just not as big of selection like yours and I got no clue how to add more to it lol...bummer I will check in again sometime to see what you might have to say ty all around anyways.
Is this mod still being updated? It is missing Bukeperries (I tried to add it myself using the Git files, but found out that I know nothing about compiling DLL's and couldn't)
Also - Is it at all possible to make this mod compatible with Project Auga?
We have been slacking for a while. Adding new items should be as easy as rebuilding the mod. I have no idea what would be required to be compatible with Project Auga so I can't answer that.
I added a configurable option of what item categories to include. It is now set to Material;Trophie;Consumable;Torch;Tool as default which includes Bukeperries, among other things.
