Great app, but can you please add a hotkey (e.g., Ctrl+Shift+E) to deposit all items to all drawers within range? It takes forever to empty your inventory each time.

Can confirm, the thunderstore mod is the right one! Everything was all messed up trying to use this one.
EDIT: I am a foolish liar. I regret having put all of my things in these drawers. I can only get a world to load (and be re-loadable) after I load without mods. When I re-enable mods all of my drawers are GONE (and I had a lot of them lol).
Supposedly you can use this mod to replace the current item drawers mod with the new update. (https://valheim.thunderstore.io/package/KGvalheim/ItemDrawers/) Mod was also updated recently. I have not tested this so I don't know if you have to make new item drawers with the new mod or anything like that. If someone decides to test it, please let me know what worked and didn't and if it is a direct replacement or not. I think we all would be interested to know the results.
Hi there. so KGValheim works on current version 217.38. it will replace the drawers from the Itemdrawers mod of makzimus but i think the KG ones are a bit smaler. One side of my storage was shiftet into a wall. Furthermore i think that ValheimPlus dosnt recognize them as chests, bc on a workingstation i cant see any of my storaged materials. Dont know if its from the mod it self or conflicting with some other.
To anyone having problems with the new version of the valheim due to this mod not working. You can just simply istall previous version of the valheim from steam and it will work fine again. There have been some minor changes in that update that heavily impacted this mod and many more so just revert back to previous version and enjoy the game :)
Mine also had an invalid version note even tho I never actually loaded a world after the update, just tried to revert to default_old after the menu goofed. Darn shame I literally JUST moved one of my playthroughs entire stock into these drawers and now this RREEEEEEEEE

Edit: Turns out I also had to revert a couple mods. Downgraded Jotunn(to 2.14.6), Server Devcommands(to 1.64), and Teleport Everything(to 2.5.1) and my modlist works with steam's "default_old" build/version: 0.217.31. Edit again: After a bit of testing only Devcommands needed a downgrade, 1.64, 1.65, 1.66 seem to work when 1.67 gives the weird $menu error.
Not sure, but if I run server devcommands 1.67 while using steam's 'default_old' build (0.217.31 at the moment) I get that weird menu issue. But yeah, 1.66 or lower works fine with this build and my other loaded mods.
it worksfor servers if you can download the map, move everything out of item drawrrs and then reupload the world back to your server. I will not use this again until end game if they keep updating it
nah saying if you run the old version, when I did it, I couldn't do anything with settings, not that it should matter, just move all your stuff out of the item drawers, break em all and build normal storage, then transfer your map back to your dedicated server.
ah well i've only run this mod on a single player game, not a server. although the server i do have, i was able to get working using steamcmd to download the default_old manifest, thanks to steamdb's listings. hopefully this mod gets updated before another release pushes and steam forces an update beyond the current default_old..
Or you can download the new release of ItemDrawers by KG, this is exactly the same but you've 3 style of drawers, wood, stone & blackmarble and you can add non stackable item in a whitelist on the config file. The mods even convert ancient drawers to new one !
Big problem, I think! Makzimus, wh o is owner of this mod, was last online on 14th of October. I hope, somebody has a direct link to him to trigger him: Otherwise it could be that he do not know what happened with Item Drawers :-(
due to him being gone for so long. hopefully someone who knows how to mod for this game should take it and update it themselves. so if anyone knows a modder it might be best to ask them to take this mod and update it themselves.
@RivenPCGamer: i tried to switch to it, but it says "kg.ItemDrwares is not installed on the server" - mind you, im running lloesche valheim docker image on my Synology. Tried all the other workarounds - even switched to old_version, but still not possible to connect
It does. The dev even just provided an update that converts an existing world's drawers from makail/makzimus mod. It worked for me. But always be sure to test it first (ie. make a copy of the world and try it offline).
Omg so me and my bud had the new update problem and all our drawers are gone, since we tried to run the server without the mod. I tried reverting to an old version of the game as per the latest posts here but when I ran the server our drawers were still gone even though the mod works. What do I do??
Hi , today tried to jump on and was receiving a bunch of errors in the main menu as soon as the game loads. Alot of the menu items look like $_menu etc.
I've disabled all my mods and enabled 3-5 at a time and came to the conclusion that ItemDrawers is causing the issue , is there any possible fixes that could be done to make this work? I can't join any server with it as it doesn't let me select my character or anything.
We also don't really wanna run the server without Itemdrawers as we had 95% of our items in the chests lol.
Any response would be amazing. Please update if you have the time or energy. :D
Same issue, was working fine as a stand alone mod, but as soon as I added Jotunn, (not Jotunnlib), I got the error with the $menu_<insert menu option here> . Clearly it isn't compatible with Jotunn, which I need to run Planbuild to blueprint my builds... saving my buildings is more important to me than my OCD need to have a place for everything and everything in its place, (lol?). Hope a fix comes soon.
Yeah, It was compatible before this new update, think they just need to trouble shoot it, hopefully its working soon, all my items are in the Item drawers hahahaha

For anyone wondering: Found it. In steam go to properties -> Betas -> select "default_old"
That should keep it working until the next patch.
