Sorry for the late update, been working on a lot of other stuff so have not really had the time to work on this. To answer some questions this is what I'll be looking at soon.
- Resolution scaling (for you 4K gamers) - UI bugfixes (whole window not showing up) - Changing save location of backups - For more upcoming changes please refer to the Github page
What I won't be looking at.
- Translations - Compatibility with other mod managers (Vortex, Thunderstore etc.)
The plan is to release an updated version of this installer as soon as the next update for Valheim goes live (and the next update for ValheimPlus), since there most likely will be new stuff added that needs to be configurable. :)
Trying to install mods to play Mistlands, Installed valheim plus and dependencies. Installed Valheim Plus Manager but it wont let me change settins for server. I press the button and app just closes
When I edited the values and closed the window, it didn't save changes to the .cfg file, but funnily enough, when i edit the .cfg in notepad or the like and save changes, these appear in the .net api. If there's a save changes button, it doesn't show, but if there isn't how do you save changes?
Hi. Is this mod still supported? How do I change the drop rates of animals? I mostly got mods to increase gathering rates and I found settings for resource nodes like copper, tin, etc, but not for drops by animals. Need more drops too
The UI is too big for my screen and i cannot rescale it. i have to either Alt+F4 or task manager quit out of it just to close it down. i run at 1920x1080 60hz.
I am having the same issue. "Manage Configuration Settings" opens a window, but the top of the window is off the screen. Since I can't actually see the top, there is no way to move it, nor do any of the windows from VPM seem to be resizeable.
[update] I noticed that my scale in windows settings was set to 125% (Recommended). I changed it to 100% and although the text is much smaller (duh) the windows for VPM are no longer off the screen and are useable now.
Hi Rob, Just an FYI, I have latest BepInEx, only one mod (V+) and your updater / manager. I can install fine with your manager, but when I click on 'Manage configuration settings', it crashes with no error in 3 seconds every time. Is there any fix for this? I have latest .NET 5 as well.
I installed the zip file, unzipped and I am not seeing the .exe file. I searched through every single folder and it is not there. I search through the git repository and the file does not seem to be there either. Am I missing something here? How do I run this mod when there is not an executable. Thanks!
You should be able to just download the .zip from here, unzip it and it should contain the .exe. If it does not contain a .exe my bet would be that you have some anti-virus installed that gives a false-positive, thus removing the .exe from the unzipped folder.
When I try to use the config menu, part of it does not show up on screen. I am playing the game on a 65" 4k tv at 4k x 2k 3840x2160 6omhz. If I change the resolution on the pc to a lower resolution, the entire menu shows up, but then I have to change it back, which is a pain. Is there any way this manager can be scaled for a 4k TV? Or am I missing a setting somewhere.
I would love to use it but I use Thunderstore as Mod manager (because Vortex will not work correct for me with Valheim) and the VPM says always "ValheimPlus not installed on the client". I've started the VPM as Admin, but Valheim Plus is in the mod folder of Thunderstore, not in the Steam Valheim folder.
How can I tell the VPM where the Valheim Plus installation is if it is on a different hard drive as the game itself?
I'm not very familiar with the Thunderstore manager so I'm afraid I can't help you, the only thing I can think of is that you install ValheimPlus using this manager and not the Thunderstore one.
this modapack totally destroyed my game making it unplayable. i was playing just fine till i installed this and now it keeps crashing on open. thanks alot. ps, the screen doesnt even show up all the way
This has nothing to do with my ValheimPlus manager itself, it would be related to either other mods you have installed causing a conflict with ValheimPlus or that ValheimPlus has not been updated to work with the latest Valheim update.
I would recommend that you remove this manager, re-download it and re-install ValheimPlus. IIRC BepinEx was updated recently and it might be that the versioning of the ValheimPlus release was not changed even though they provided the new files. :)

It's an oversight by me, tested this on resolutions up to 2K without scaling. I've noted this bug and will work on a fix for the next release. :)
