Aloha everyone! New Update is out! Textured all the Food Items and some plantables, (Not the Mead Basestuff.) Bronze Armor and Buckler, Troll Armor, Troll, Fixed Table/chairs/bench, stagbreaker, new sail for Long Ship, Low_LeafTexture for fire and ambient effects and some other things...
There are 2 files in there called(NameME) They are my attempt at the regular cooked meat texture and the bone texture for the stagbreaker and the meat. I cant seem to get the naming right after hours and hours of attempts. Feel free to give it a shot! Would love to have it work.
My next update should be an asset file. Currently Learning the process now <3 Hope everyone is enjoying the mod still! Happy Cooking! Coco
With the costumTexture mod my game jumps from 4gb ram used to 9-10 gb ram used. The mod looks awesome but it takes my computer(16gb RAM) to nearly 90-95% RAM used. Is there a workaround to install the textures directly into valheim_Data or something?
The mod looks amazing but i don't want to push my laptop too hard!
This looks to be great mod, except for the large mem requirement if using the full package.
My experience at least
with some low profile mods running: Clock, Locator, Simple Recycling, MultiCraft, Speedy Paths, No Lens dirt
game is just under 2GB mem
with this and Custom Textures running it jumps to 12gb mem and framerate has noticeable drop, which is surprising being that its 1.5gb total folder size
my rig has 16gb ram, so this puts it over 90% which Windows typically doesn't like, which is most likely contributing to the sluggishness also experienced
Know it is mentioned that can pick and chose what changes are in there, but unsure which are keepers.
This mod is unfortunately abandoned and it uses CustomTextures. CustomTextures is great for a few texture replacement but no go for complete overhaul. CT needs more than 2.5X the amount of ram and vram than asset replacement texture mods and thus has great impact in performance.

Is there perhaps the possibility that you could make a Sleeveless Padded Armor with Bracers and an Armored 'Skirt' like here with the mod? https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/368?tab=posts
I like your textures very much and I would be very happy if you could possibly create a version like this picture of the mod?: https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/3667/images/368/368-1615358497-1759184845.png?
Looking good so far! I'm not a huge fan of the way thatch roofs look and the beehive is WAY off color compared to the rest of the wood, but so far I'm digging everything else. Thanks for all your work!
Geat work man! TNX so much for that texture. Now doesnt work well, so i just took only troll's arm texture and input in the folder by my hand. Looks well. I think that can work, if you'll just change some pictures in that pack

I'm having the same RAM problem.

Has anyone had similar experience?
