Hey there, after a long time now I wanted to play Valheim again and of course facing the same issue as some other people, not showing the weapon correctly. I went through it and could get it working for me, so I like to share my steps:
Be sure to have the newest version of BepInEx
Also be sure that you have downloaded and installed the optional file for FBX from "Custom Meshes"-Mod
Shining effect is not working. Spear could be longer i guess?

Sweet! Endorsed. Could you make it a little bit longer(about a one feet more, to match another spears) and add corresponding item icon? Also, then it thrown and lies on the ground it has strange "shining" effect.
This spear looks awesome! Well done with the mesh and texture! Early - Mid game, if you get your spear skill up the spear can be really good for a melee / projectile weapon. I like all of your weapon / armor mods, When you get closer to being done with the collection I would like to see a combo pack. The quality is there!!!
I've found the spear to be useful against single target enemies like lox and high tier wolves and fulings. But it's hard to compete with the Frost Hammer :)
