I installed this hoping that it would more completely flatten areas when trying to level terrain. However, I didn't notice any actual change despite changing the power setting to 10 and reloading my world. A better explanation of this mod's functionality would be welcomed.

When I opened the game with this mod for the first time it resulted in massive terrain shifts in my vicinity. Huge chunks of land were raised throughout the area and it destroyed some of my objects that conflicted with the new land. Luckily when I logged out and uninstalled the major issues reverted.

Same here. My whole base collapsed because of it.

Yikes! Thanks for the heads up. I was about to try this mod since My Favorite Hoe broke with the latest Jotunn update.

maan could you give us the "old" hoe back? before this 1.50.3 Valheim patch...I loved to HOE through the swamp...raising Earth for 0 Stone and of course build invincible walls with just 4 Stone...

What do you mean by "raising Earth for 0 Stone"? Raising cost was 4 stone. Now it costs 2 stone and it's better than 4

of course 4 Stone sorry I meant ....but you could use the hoe to level to max height for 4 Stones.

Great Mod! Very useful for making sloped paths look good. If I could make a request though, could you release a file without the cultivator tweaks? I think it's conflicting with other farming mods. That is, if it's no trouble. Thanks!

I don't modify hoe, only terrain modifications

Modify hoe smoothing power and radius (?Bigger radius multiplier + lower power multiplier = smoothier terrain)

I have with F1 available: levelRadius, paintRadius, smoothPower, smoothRadius - there is just one powermultiplier, but which radius-setting is the radius-setting you mean with that? I guess the two "smooth" settings.

Say, i wanna create a new hill with a nice slope/hillside on the side (and not straight down), is it possible and if yes, how or with what settings?

First (main) purpose - making smoothier slopes with hoe (as said in description - bigger radius multiplier + lower power multiplier = smoothier terrain). Also you can set bigger paint radius (hoe or cultivator). Slyvoute and JellyFishh noticed that effects applied after area loading (instead of planned applying only to new terrain modifications)

Just ending 2 hours of testing this mod on multiplayer server. Maybe it could answer to several comments that i saw.

Better Hoe's effects apply once you have changed settings, then loaded the area. Whenever you flatten/digged (yes pickaxe).
E.g : without mod, I made a hole in my house, then went far away. Later, I activated the mod, changed settings to wider radius, then went to home : the hole became much bigger (larger radius). Then I went far away, reseted settings, went back home : hole retrieved its normal radius.

It CRTL-Zed some accidents at spawn lol, however some areas are more flat now, so a little of mod's effects seem to stay, fortunately the bests x)

Be careful using this mod, i was testing some modifiers in a different world until i was satisfied with the settings. I go into my main world and boom, the entire terrain that ive modified before is spiky and messed up. Had a backup but this mod seems to affect previously modified terrain with the old hoe.

    Well, it's nice...

But it makes my graphics lag out. I've got an HP Omen laptop, 2.8ghz i7, 12g ram, Nvidia GTX 1060 6g ddr5 vram. Pretty much nothing makes this box lag out, but this mod is doing what no other game has been able to accomplish. :D

Not sure what the deal is, but every time I hit the button with this hoe, there it gets all herky-jerky.

And it was a new char on a new world and I hadn't used the original hoe at all.

But now I'm back to the original.

Still, keeping my eye on this one.

You're performing a lot more changes at once on the terrain which is already well known to be a lag inducing change.

Until they fix the lag issue after terraforming no rig is going to do well with this game. I am running a 1080 ti and an i7-770K OC'd to 5.0 ghz with an SSD and my fps will drop from 90's to 50's every time I get close enough to my base for it to render. The strange part is it gets really choppy even though 50 fps should be enough to run a game smoothly.
