This mod enables use of a sonar ping ability. If you press Walk while crouching, you will consume a chunk of stamina and send out a wave which senses nearby animals and monsters. Much like how you can reveal an enemy's HP bar in vanilla Valheim by moving your crosshair over it, this mod will do the same within a base radius of 30 meters from your position. However, this mod also scales up this distance to up to 60 meters at Sneak 100, for both the ping AND via crosshair.

+ Base and Bonus radius can be adjusted in the config to whatever you want.
+ Stamina drain is 70 by default but can also be adjusted.
+ Visual and audio effect accompanies the ping. (configurable)
+ Detected enemies will now be seen on the minimap. (configurable)
+ Minimap can be zoomed in two additional steps to make it easier to see. (configurable)
+ Message prompt will be shown, displaying how many nearby creatures you detected. (configurable)
+ Custom hotkey can be bound if you don't like the default of pressing Walk(C) while crouching.
(Defaults are intended for balanced, vanilla-like gameplay. Adjustments may cause problems, including glitches or loss of fun.)

Config file located in [GameFolder]\BepInEx\config\KZ.CreatureSense.cfg, will be generated after the first launch of the game when the mod is properly installed. Change the config in your text editor of choice, such as Notepad++.

Requires BepInEX to run. Look up a guide for how to do this for Valheim, or install the ValheimPlus mod as a prerequisite as that comes with BepInEX bundled in. To install this mod, drag the .DLL file into the BepInEX plugins folder.

This mod works well in singleplayer and is entirely client-sided, but technically it also functions in multiplayer. This may be considered cheating by some, so do not use it on a server where you do not have permission to use it.
