Could we possibly get all of the mesh/texture mods updated to whatever is passing for standalone or whatever so there's some consistency? It gets super confusing when different mods are installed in different ways and some of them don't even have the correct filepath.
You need to put the AssimpNet.dll file in the Plugins folder. You can get the necessary file from here: https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/184?tab=description
I've downloaded and successfully used your two sword mods, however I can't get this one to work for some reason. The textures seem to update, but the mesh is still the default version
the naming on the PNG's need to be changed. here's how they should look, objectrenderer_prefabID_meshLayerName_maintex.png objectrenderer_prefabID_meshLayerName_bumpmap.png otherwise it tries to replace all the "_maintex" within the gameobject. prefab ID is already correct, mesh layer name for this should be "Viking_Axe" you also will need the "optional" files assimp for fbx on the Custom Mesh page to import the fbx files on these.
I have installed this mod and other weapons created by you, unfortunately the new update broke them, is there any possibility that you can update them?
so, i put the subfolders in CustomMeshes, in put the texture png in CustomTextures, i updated both dll and the axe model still doesnt change :(
i manage to use texture mods, all of the ones i tried, but none are with .fbx files, maybe i'm doing something wrong? i check all the messages and tutorials i found, can't get it to work :(

EDIT: got it working had to manually install an extra file for the custom meshes mod
the glitter when the weapon is on the floor is broken - shows a weird texture floating up from the weapon

It has occurred that the effect of the item lying on the floor displays the texture instead of the sparks
Ex: IMAGE
try to rename the textures:
objectmat_AxeIron_Viking_Axe (Instance)_MainTex
objectmat_AxeIron_Viking_Axe (Instance)_BumpMap
objectmat_AxeIron_Viking_Axe (Instance)_MetallicGlossMap
object_* should never be used in CustomTextures exactly because of that issue.
