Mod looks great but it should be noted that the packages have the "Mod Manager Download" option enabled but aren't packaged to actually work with Vortex. Any chance the packages for the next version can be structured for Vortex support( with the 'CustomTextures' and 'OpenDatabase' folders in the root of the archive. separate archives for each version.)?
EDIT: After checking the game again I noticed that the recipes don't load properly. It looks like they need to be put into the 'OpenDatabase\Recipes' folder to actually work in the game.
I second what chaosandsorrow said. In fact I downloaded this hoping I could reverse engineer what you did so I could make the blackmetal gear actually black but I'm totally lost. My png files are changed to black and the files are named in the right format but ingame the color remains green. Any tips in the right direction would be much appreciated!
Still trying to figure that one out myself. The shields work fine but for the weapons it seems like no matter what you try the greenish tint still remains :( I made the layer pink in hopes it'd mask the green, seems to make the green less prominent but it's still noticeable it well lit areas. If I manage to figure it out though I'll definitely share it!

Question, could we have a version that remode the weird green glow from black metal ? I mean, it's called black metal, not green metal ^^' that's a thing that always annoyed me in the vanilla game about the weapons and shields, which led me to not using them ^^'
I'll make an alternate version that makes the green black if you want? I figured some people weren't into the green but I wanted to stick with the aesthetic. I'll update with the alt version in a few hours or so.

Should be up now, it's a little darker than the image you posted but still looks okay imo. Hope you like the Alt version! Still working on revamping all the other Armor Sets, will hopefully be doing the weapons/tools next!
Glad you like it! I was a bit iffy about the cape because of the red accented feathers, but i stuck with it as the Black Metal items do have red on the handles & I think it turned out great! Glad you're liking it!
My wife and I just got flax yesterday. We were excited to see what new armor we'd get, then immediately disappointed. Back to the swamps? That wouldn't even be a challenge or interesting. I was hoping this mod existed and bam here it is a day later. Thank you so much for making the end game... end game.
Me & my misses felt the exact same way which led me to create this Mod! Just didn't make sense to use an inferior metal for better Armor imo. Glad you like the mod!
The nexus mod manager, all my other mods are working through it fine, I installed the other 2 first like instructed but nothing has changed for me unfortunately.
I seem to have found the problem, The Zipfile contains a folder called BlackMetal Padded Armor. Because of this the Nexusmod just unzips that into the folder and therefore the files do not end up in the correct place, I think if you remove the startermap and just have the "CostumTextures" and "OpenDatabas" folders as a start, it will unzip those files and that way automatically add the files in those folders in the folders already in the Valheim map.
Sorry you're having issues. Have you installed Open Database & Custom Textures? If so, just locate the BepInEx folder in Steam Library\steamapps\common\Valheim\BepInEx,then drag the contents of the zip file into the 'plugins' folder & the files will automatically install once you run the game.
