Convert the Padded Armor & Lox Cape requirements to use Black Metal instead of Iron. Includes the required JSON files as well as a texture pack to make the Padded Armor & Lox Cape look like they actually use Black Metal.

This mod changes the Padded Armor set & Lox Cape crafting requirements to use Black Metal over Iron & Silver. Basically made this because I found it odd that the best Armor in the game doesn't use the best (currently available) resource.
Includes the required JSON files as well as a texture pack to make the Padded Armor & Lox Cape look like they actually use Black Metal. Also Buffed the Durability of the Lox Cape. Metal quantity requirements for each Armor piece has been increased from 10 Iron to 30 Black Metal (Level Improvements still require 5 per increment). This shouldn't be an issue seen as Black Metal Ore is one of the easiest ores to acquire in the game.
There's also a JSON file which change the crafting requirements for the Linen Cape to use Feathers & Iron so you can access it earlier and use it with the Iron/Bronze armor set. Basically makes every Armor Set have a cape you can acquire regardless of where you're at in the game!
Rather than use a DLL file (Mainly because I don't know how to make them) I've just uploaded it as a zip, so if you just want to use one thing or the other you can. Here's how to install:
That's basically it, I might make custom inventory icons at a later date but for now, enjoy! More Texture packs on the way so stay tuned!
UPDATE (VERSION 1.0.1)
I know some poeple weren't keen on the green metal, so the texture pack now includes an Alternate Version of the Padded Armor Set which removes the green and replaces it with dark grey, or True Black Metal as it were. Just delete the BlackMetal Padded Armor folder out of CustomTextures and replace it with the BlackMetal Padded Armor V2 folder. Hope you all like the update!

- Locate Steam Library\steamapps\common\Valheim\BepInEx\plugins
- Install CustomTextures & OpenDatabase if you've not done so already.
- Load the game up then close it once you get to the main menu to create the necessary "CustomTextures" & "OpenDatabase" folders.
- Unzip the file, open Folder "Padded Armor", then choose either Ver. 1 for the Original variant or Ver. 2 for the Greyscaled Variant.
- Then, open "CustomTextures" from the zip and drag the contents into "CustomTextures" that was generated earlier, same for "OpenDatabase" if you want to change the Padded Armor Recipe to the one described above using the JSON file.
- Load up your game and everything should be working! I'd recommend downloading my "Revamped Bronze Armor" Mod for the Black Megingjord add-on as it looks great with this texture pack!
