For some reason when I install this, it's making me have no build cost, does anyone else have this issue? I am using a modpack so it's possible that there is a conflict. When I disable this mod, building costs resources as normal.
Is there a mod that changes the placement for crafting station upgrades? the collision boxes on them are nuts, I just want my stations to look nice dangit!
Probably a bad mod interaction as well, but this causes the highlighting of building objects that stays in some cases, throws errors in the log and looks to cause a nasty memory leak. I think this needs updating.
Oh and I just noticed sometimes parts are mysteriously removed from my house and placed somewhere else. This stops when the mod is removed.
I spent an eternity trying to figure out which mod in my list caused this, and then came here to report it. This post explains the problem very well, and I wish I had seen it prior to all this. When building: Multiple pieces gets highlighted and often acts as "one" (if they're connected). I.E. Demolishing one of them might end up demolishing all of them. As you can immagine, it was really annoying to have half of my house destroyed cause I demolished a misplaced piece. Also, it was a rather puzzling experience comming back to my house after some adventuring - only to find that entire rooms had moved around, exploded, were floating in air or whatever other strange things would occur. I'd stay away from this one untill it gets an update.
Cool mod! Not quite what I was looking for though. I was hoping it unlocked placement of all items like "place anywhere" for Fallout 4. All I really want to do, is put the wall torches on some trees that lead up to my house. Kinda going for a enchanted forest type vibe, and it would look cool to have a winding path through my forest with the wall torches on the trees by the path to light the way.
I would mostly love to be able to place crafting station upgrades closer together. Any way to remove the minimum distance so my force and addons can be denser?
