Custom channels is a big step for VChat, it means players can create their own (little) groups and should also proof useful with bigger servers, which is why this deserves a major version update. Please note that with 2.0.0 the custom channels are only supported for dedicated servers.
The added commands are:

/accept

/decline
/decline
/setcolor
