This mod is GREAT for the extra boat speed, I love it for that. But the rudder is also buffed way up and that's more of a hinderance than a help. I don't mean the speed of a boat when the sails aren't being used, I mean turning the boat with the rudder. I out in my karve speeding across the sea, and try to turn a little to the side so I can go around the approach coast, and within 4 seconds I'm facing 90 degrees off from the direction I was just going. It's hard as hell navigatin through a narrow channel between 2 islands since I can't either side-arrow key more than twice away from direct-forward without crashing into a shoreline. This needs to fixed. Either make the sensitivity of rudder-turning go back to what it was unmodded, or give us the ability to adjust it in the config file. (FYI I tried reducing the value under "Arbitrary value for rudder additional speed" in the config but it made no difference.)
as far as i can tell - this doesn't change your turning speed at all... it's the speed of the boat that affects that.
Rudder in this mod should be changed to "paddle". it only changes your speed when paddling, but since speed = turn rate.. i can see the issue if your going super fast.
"Rudder" normally means how quickly you turn.... For this mod apparently he meant Paddle. its your speed when you are at no sail, just paddeling against the wind for example.
Number needs to be fairly high ( I use 20-30 depending on the boat) and it makes a HUGE diff. I don't even use sails anymore. I just paddle in ANY direction I want, and at full speed - if not faster than sails.
I have put the Dll on my Gportal server with Bepinex and no cfg is been generated.. I'm guessing this is a client side mod? I can't find instructions , can someone help pls?
