I would like to increase the strength of the stakes. The damage suits me, but I also don't want them to be completely invulnerable, since it's an imba. Is it worth waiting for a patch to be released soon?

Could you make an option to make stake walls not take damage when an enemy walks into them?

Just to be clear, is this mod working for you? I'm another one who can't get it to work. No errors, the mod is recognised ( [Info   :   BepInEx] Loading [BetterStakes 0.1.0] [Info   : Unity Log] BetterStakes: Awake ), the config's there, but stakes still function as they do in vanilla, no changes in damage or dropping their resources when deconstructed. Tried with no other mods installed, and not on public beta. I would love to have stakes be more useful, the mod idea is great.
*Edit: the issue was found and solved, for anyone wondering. Thanks again Astevus!

Sorry you're having issues. Can you set the log level to Debug? Then build, run into, and destroy the stakes? If you can send that log in a DM here or on Discord along with your config, I'll see if I can figure out what's going on.

Let me know if you can send a log file. I haven't seen this issue, so I can't help unless I have some idea what's going wrong.

Manual installation would be to unzip the downloaded mod file into a folder under your BapInEx/plugins folder. No special instructions. Are you seeing any errors in your logfile? If you post that on Discord or in a DM here, I can take a look and see if I spot anything.
