hi, not sure if this is the right place, im using the Thunderstore version and i cant get it to "rise", holding space does make me go forward a little faster but i dont go up, if i rapidly spam the jump button, i go almost horizontal but still go down. any idea how i can fix this?
i always thought i would love to try a version of this cape which lets me fall normally while holding a hotkey! releasing the key would let me glide again - or the other way around: normal falling until you hold the hotkey for gliding :)
This should be possible with the current release. You will just need play around with the force values. (e.g. during rise/boost you have 0 fall speed), then for rise/boost only add a very negligible amount of upward force.
I plan on re-working the physics of this mod in the future to replicate actual gliding mechanics when I have more time.
Let me know if you have any suggestions regarding balancing! I was considering for the effects to be usable earlier than Mistlands (e.g. Mountains) but I thought it would undermine the progression of Mistlands.
