The menu tile for the ship pieces isn't working in my game. Is the mod compatible with the latest Valheim update? If so, it could be another mod of mine interfering with it.
I'm pretty busy with other things at the moment and can't give much time to modding, so this mod is unfortunately on the backburner. I would love to pick it up again though but can't give any timeline
Thank you for making this mod! ^_^ it made me install valheim again. Catamaran/Trimaran vessels are hard to make in ValheimRaft (because they way to big). Your mod can pave the way for more polynesian style vessels in valheim. I don't want to be a nagging b**** but, would you consider allowing the hulls to snap farther?( just to allow for more sharper bow/stern).
Check the user images I added.
Again, Thank you for this mod. "May Odin give you knowledge on your path"
Wow, I'm very impressed by the catamaran, the mod was not designed about this being an option.
I'm not entirely sure what you mean with further snapping, the hull meshes are generated by the surrounding ribs. So for sharper angles a second hull piece with different generation parameters would be necessary. It's hard to tweak it to look good in various situations, so cannot promise it. Also, the next update is nearly ready (a few weeks until everything is sorted) and finally brings a second deck. You will likely be able to build a better bridge between the two hulls :D
Absolutely love this mod. The customization is good enough to be fun an immersive, but not as PC or mind melting as Raft can be. I would love to see a few features that would make this a staple.
Ability to place a bed. A basic repair bench. A basic cooking bench.
This would allow you to use your ship as a very basic base while you build a new true base on a new island. A role ships served in real life.
I've read with other ship mods its difficult and haven't been able to find a solution for beds on boats for some reason as soon as you move it resets at least from the mods i attempted with
Thanks! A repair benchmark may be possible but a crafting or cooking station are unlikely duo to how the mod is made and how Valheim functions internally. A bed will cause more issues because Valheim sets the spawn point on the player. I.e. if the player is offline and the ship moves, there is no way for him to change the spawn point accordingly. Maybe it is possible but it must be reliable and I don't see a good solution for this at the moment.
No, currently custom ships will get damaged in Aslands like the other pre-Aslands boats. This may change in the future but is intended for the time being.
Thanks for this wonderful mod! It will be even better if the seats and pole holding options will be added. The second deck (and the third one) can be crafted even now, because it is the only way to prevent falling the others out of the ship during the big stormy waves. Looking forward for new updates.

Cheers on the excellent mod!
