The second deck (and the third one) can be crafted even now, because it is the only way to prevent falling the others out of the ship during the big stormy waves. Looking forward for new updates.
This mod holds so much potential. Moved from ValheimRAFT - Continued due to some major bugs that broke it's use, and this fills it fairly well. The boats you can make are similar to those in the base game but much more customizable. It almost feels like something the base game would have. I'm excited to see what gets added.
I loved the idea but I feel that it still needs polishing, adding more pieces to make larger boats and not being limited to the conventional ones, above all I liked being able to put boxes and barrels. Is it compatible with Cannons by QuantumPerception or Turret Defense by DigitalSoftware?
I installed trough r2modman but how do i use it? Theres no page called customships or anything when i open my buildhammer menu? Is it incompatible with something? I have valheimraft, valheimplus and some other mods installed. Cheers!
The pieces should be visible in the hammer in a tab called "Ship" after you have picked up core wood, resign and bronze nails.
What version of V+ do you have installed? The official 0.9.9.11 version is broken for quite a while ago, make sure to use Grantapher's fork that is still supported. Otherwise please DM me your log file from BepInEx/LogOutput.log.
Some pieces place straight when im in the ocean or when the boat is not straight even with snapping. If the boat is slanted right the new piece will stay straight. reporting it here cause im not sure if its a compatibility issue. (probably with OCDHeim)
can I use vanilla and other moded content in the boat? Such as valkea or finewood pieces? not gonna lie, i like this mod more than valheimRAFT. Great job!
No, only the specific boat pieces can be used to create a boat. This is a design choice, to limit conflicts between other mods. There are more pieces planned for future updates, both functional and decorative
It is planned to add more storage pieces that are bigger and provide more storage space. The size of the crate and barrel itself won't change but you can always adjust it with a mod like AzuContainerSizes or a similar mod
This is a false positive of your anti cheat or dowload checker, this can happen from time to time because mods are distributed as dll files and not downloaded as often. Allow the file to be downloaded in the program that blocks it.
Unfortunately, I have too many collections on my hammer and BepInEx is throwing red errors, and not adding the category. I may drop one of my other build mods and check it out.
Yeah still no luck. I removed 2 mods that shared the build hammer, then used v0.1.1 ; Still getting BepInEx errors and category not showing in the menu. I'm starting to think it may be a conflict with my ValheimRaft mod. Since I'm in the middle of a large raft build project, I think I'll wait on messing with my mods list until my build is complete.
