Jere, Next question. Using your other mods, I've managed to create eight new biomes with custom spawners, locations, environments, factions, etc.. I've been using music/ambience of the other biomes but would love to create unique music/sfx/ambience for the new biomes instead of "borrowing" audio from the other vanilla biomes. Can I just create new audio names like I see (example: instead of ClearNight, use SporeClearNight) and create a pointer in the environmental & biomes configs and put a corrosponding folder with the music in it? I am definitely not a coder, but I am trying to fumble through as best I can. In my mind, this can work...but I think I am probably pushing beyond what is possible. Thought I'd get your input before I start trying to accomplish this.
That's great news. I've been using ambient audio in place of music in some cases to add a bit more complexity to the biomes (extra cave, forest, tundra sounds, etc.). That means I can add all new audio to my Sporelands, Arachnea, Frostlands, Frozenlands, Burninglands, and Charredlands. Thank you again for responding. I truly appreciate it.
I'm trying to get this setup. I created a music folder underneath Expand_World. I have several mp3's in there. I've tried editting the YML to pull a specific song, but I am clearly doing something wrong. Do they have to be in a specific format (wav, etc.), the subfolder spelled out when pointing to songs? I've spent quite a while trying to get this to work. Can you give me a hint please?
Yes, for the path you need to put the full path. If you have for example "\BepInEx\config\expand_world\songs\song.mp3" you would need to put "songs\song.mp3".
That did work. For some reason, the menu music still comes up with the "standard" music, but I was able to follow your instruction and the intro/other music is now working. I did a Google search for Royalty free Viking music and found a site that had lots to choose from. It's nice to have a change from the same old music after listening to it for 4,000+ hours of gameplay.

I didn't think about the menu.
