This mod still works, but not in its current state. You can still follow the instructions in a comment below to patch this mod yourself, but I have published a patched version of this mod with updated instructions here:
This still works, you need to change the name to conform with the newer Custom Textures mod. Simply rename the d_texture part at the end to d_MainTex. texture_raspberry_d_texture.png becomes texture_raspberry_d_MainTex.png texture_Boletus_edulis_d_texture.png become texture_Boletus_edulis_d_MainTex.png
Beyond that, ignore all instructions about installing with Vortex - it won't handle dependencies. I am not going to provide tech support on this ... Install BepinEx for Valheim first (not available on Nexus) - manually. Install Custom Textures for Valheim (available on Nexus) - manually. Install the two textures in this modpack - manually. Rename them as above.
Thank You ! Now i can return the grass/graphical setting back from hideous PS2 looking game to modern looking stylised art graphical game.
Is it at all possible to "re-skin" the mushrooms to a fly agaric glowing shroom? with the white dots glowing similar to the yellow mushrooms glow?
Side note to DEV's I can only assume the fact the considerable amount of colour blind minority gamers (who are actually 1 of the largest minorities totalling 9-10% [in males]) of your player base, get overlooked is due to 1 simple fact - there are no colour blind graphic designers to champion our cause unlike every other minority. The few developers that do are either aware of the financial benefit of appeasing 10% of their player base or happen to have a vocal/high up colour blind employee to point out the unfilled gap. It's long overdue some kind of "Colour Blind Gamers" association were created. - I'd create one... if I didn't feel guilty that my time would be better spent helping life threatening causes instead...
i had a go at adding spots to your png (and reverting the purple to a bright red) - it works in that I can see the shrooms through foliage from quite a distance but (as you know) anything other than a solid "band" when wrapped around the mushroom become overlapped and thus "spots" become inter-smeared blobs. Maybe 1 of the texture packs have upgraded a bland shroom to a beserkers fly agaric...
This is so incredibly helpful. I had been so frustrated at how hard it was to find raspberries and red mushrooms compared to blueberries and yellow mushrooms. Turns out, that's not intentional! Now I'm rolling the both these things. Huuuuge help.
Oh man, so many mushrooms I just walked on by! Thank you so much. Regular folks have no idea how difficult making stuff Red to be easily spotted doesn't help us color blind folks in the slightest. So many games made x10 more difficult. Thank you!

I find this mod personally extremely useful and do not want to see it die
