yeah, I am using the E&QS mod, cause I can't do UI stuff ... what do you think of the following option: - pressing the key first you take it in hand - pressing the key again if you already have it in hand, you are going to use/consume the item (if useable, otherwise put back into pockets) ?
yes, that´d be perfect, much better then what i said^^ should be vanilla, hehe. taking the mushroom into the hand before eating it. what will happen then though, if i have a mushroom in one, a roasted boar meat in the other hand, and then equip weapons? and what if i use the quickslots while weapons are equipped? how come nobody else is discussing this? usually people are all over immersion mods o.O
I started to work on it, though new situations come up to be handled properly. I should be able to make a new version the next days. I am happy, you are discussing it; most players seem to be more interested in QOL mods. If you could help test the new version, that would be great! Thx for your feedbak so far.
hehe, i just tested it xD its awesome, error free, works perfect and is worth it for dual wielding mead horns, carrying trophy skulls around, or looking hungry at the campfire... and its just cool to equip the food before eating it
