This looks interesting, I have it installed however I can't seem to figure out what keys you set for the 3 functions. I've looked at the config and nothing there allows me to assign keys. I've equipped my hammer (vanilla) and nothing, no key on my keyboard does anything (did discover some hidden gems for some other mods though so not a total loss. I'm probably looking right at it but like I said I'm not seeing it.
The default key to hold when using your hammer is LeftAlt. The default key combo to press when applying wear to an area is LeftAlt + W The default key combo to press to repair all pieces in an area is LeftShift + W
You can see and change these values in the config file (.../BepInEx/config/neobotics.valheim_mod.ruinsmaker.cfg), but it's easier to see and change with a configuration manager mod, if you use one. Here's links to two:

Does your configuration file contain the key mapping configs? If not, that could explain the problem. I suggest deleting the config file and restarting. Let me know if that solves it.

I like this mod, I setup a Marketplace character for quests and wanted the building to look used and abused, worked like a charm.
No conflicts with the 71 other mods! lol
