We just started this map for a group playthrough and are enjoying it. I'm excited to play a world with such massive landmasses.
A couple observations - one, there don't seem to be very many berry bushes in the starting area. We see them only occasionally and never in groups, apart from the dilapidated village areas. Not a huge deal because we're planning on using the plant anything mod anyway, but it seemed odd.
Second, it seems like the water level is slightly low for some of the river paths in the starting area? We love river systems and were curious about this. There are some cuts throughout the starting area connected to streams that seem like they are supposed to have water in them. I don't know if there is a setting I am missing or something, or if it's just an artifact of how the world generates or something.
I've commented on this before, but felt I needed to say more. First of all, I love this world, it looks way more natural, and exploring feels more organic than in the default worlds. One thing, though, the Bog Witch doesn't seem to actually spawn in this world. I tried the cheat codes to locate the bog witch, and there were no locations listed when I did so, meaning she has no spawn locations, and you therefore can't manually spawn her in either. Hopefully there's something to be done about that, because it's a pain in the ass to have to switch to one of my other worlds anytime I want to buy something from her.
Great map!!! But I want to know if there are traders on it, and how many possible places they can appear. I found only Haldor at the edge of the world. Are Hildir and the Bog Witch present?
They are less condensed in smaller biome, more spread across larger biomes coverage. In vanilla maps there is more water than land, and here we have much more land than water.
Copia y pega esto en ejecutar de Windows %userprofile%\appdata\LocalLow , luego dirigete a la carpeta IronGate - Valheim - Worlds_local y pega los archivos del mapa, espero que te sirva mi explicación.
It both looks and feels much more realistic, so highly recommended. One thing, though, for whatever reason structures, or at least burial chambers in the Black Forest, seem to be way more rare than in the vanilla game. I've so far only found 2 of them, and I've been playing for 70 in game days now.
I've playtested both this map and Brazili and I love how interesting the topography and tree placement is, highly highly recommend (endorsed obvs)
I will make the note that the worlds are HUGE and while that makes them more majestic, it also makes them sort of annoying to traverse. You'll spend minutes and minutes walking through meadows to get to your base, to the spawn, to eikthyr, to the forest, etc.
I recommend that users get a mod to compliment this (that adds easier/faster traversal) or (and I'm about to test though but haven't yet) use "Expand World" to smush the sheer breadth and width of the map down if you want to use more vanilla means of travel
Yes, my worlds are huge, and made for exploration lovers, just to find nice view or location to build some nice fortress..! They also might not fit for NoPortal runs. I always go scouting with a portal kit in my inventory and a portal ready at the main base!
Also, as stated on the other map, there is a lot of navigable seas and rivers to explore by waterways!
For Brasilll I am using that Horses mod which feels great, and for the Craters I've been making heavy use of the ol' boat and have been using portals quite a bit. Still, it's super awesome to crest a hill and look over the vista
One thing I'm also doing is using a mod to increase draw distance just a little and it absolutely slaps in combination with both of your maps!
Render Limits to increase chunks and assets draw distance is a must if your hardware handle it! I set it quite high. Weather Tweaks is great as well, to just set the global mist lower and see further!
