Hey, love this mod. I am wondering if there is a way to replicate the "mute howls" option, but instead of wolves its for other tamed mobs? For example if I have a tamed fuling shaman and dont want her to be constantly making fuling noises
This still prevents wolf howls which is amazing. That noise was driving me crazy. The wolf combat buffs no longer work. The Bepinx mod notification window that runs in the background produces a huge red error message after trying to apply the damage reduction. I am still going to use the mod and hope that MqKeezy updates the mod but am worried it is lowering game performance.
Damn! I was afraid of this. This is the reason I haven't updated my game yet. I've been too afraid to lose my mods. This mod in particular. I consider it essential for the way I play the game. So if I can't reduce the damage my wolf takes, then I'm pretty much stuffed :very sad:
I was wondering this myself so i tested this ingame with and without the mod. The vanilla games does not give any damage reduction to tamed wolfs (tested this on a skeleton with a bow). So set the WolfTamedReduction to 0 for the mod, to avoid the combat advantages.
First, I love this mod. Being able to keep my wolves safe from my own clumsiness is really great! Thank you!
However (isn't there always a 'however'? ;) ) --
I also have the mod that allows me to rename my pets. I believe this is conflicting with yours and disabling the damage reduction since the mod looks for affecting only the name 'wolf', for example, and not the 'npc ID', regardless of the name?
I tried attacking a non-named tamed wolf and the config worked.. it took no damage. But, I nearly killed one of my named ones when I hit it.
If something could be added to have both mods work together, it would be wonderful.
Could you add an item that you build and it acts like a constant food lure to keep animals in close proximity using their built in ai. Perhaps toggleable so you can get them to try to eat other things when its disabled? Tired of my wolves just plowing through everything anytime a neck shows up. Perhaps aoe follow/stay?
Then the Mod is broken. It is ALWAYS generated when you 1st load the game. If there is none generated then it does not use a config file and has no config options or it is broken..
You can access config options IN Game by hitting F1 (This is a BepInEx in game mod configuration manager).. Some changed options require the Mod to be reloaded (either with a console command (F5) reload (Modname) or by closing the game (no just logging out) and restarting the game.

Everything worked fine until just recently. THere was a MagicPlugin update recently, not sure if that had anything to do with it.
