hi, there is a way to change only the night experience? i already tried ur mod, at the beginning was strange and awesome but after a while it start to be grim...but the pitch black night style was amazing and i'd like to put only that
Hello DeadshotDC92, there is no way to make it so ReShade only affect night time, at least not that I'm aware of, your best bet would be to create your own preset and use a shader that only modify the contrast so you can make the game really dark and then you turn ReShade ON during the night and OFF when dawn hits.
Hey man, I love your preset, I just have one question, I seem to sort of randomly loose access to the steam overlay for taking screenshots and such when using the preset, do you know what could be causing it or how to fix it?
Hey Mordragos, apparently its a known bug when using ReShade with steam games and according to what I've read on diverse forums there is no fix unfortunately.
Hey chenkaka0113, you can do it by launching the ReShade installer, selecting Vallheim.exe then Direct3D 10/11/12 and it should give you 2 options, update or uninstall.
Hello Thundathigh, it does but you need to keep the ReShade setup window open (where it says ReShade setup was successful) for it to work. Or you install it globally so you don't have to keep the window open but I never tried it this way.
Using this, looks nice. I am pretty anal about reshades normally I can't use someone elses but this one is nice.
I don't like the perfect perspective thing though, not sure what the point of it is. I also had the blurry line in middle. Maybe it's related to resolution? I run 1440p and had it unless I changed that first setting for PP to 10.
Can you list the actual effects used here?
When I installed I always have several unused/unchecked settings that I am not sure if are supposed to be used (LUT, Deband, Daltonize, UIMask)
Hello NewYears1978 thanks for your feedbacks, after reading this I decided to remove Perfect Perspective from my preset, it was used to simulate a letterbox effect without overlapping the HUD but since I keep getting people telling me that its not working properly I can't keep it in.
Here is the list of the effects you should see enabled :
Can i just make a folder in the Valheim directory like, "etc. valheim\engine\config\platform"? I do this in other games like Cyberpunk2077 for reshades.
Hello. I am writing through a translator because I don’t know English. I'm talking about your and my preset. Your preset is good and almost similar to mine. May I share my preset with you? I wanted to put the preset on the site, but I was too lazy to make out. If you like something in it, reciprocate. If you agree, where do I send the file?
Hello sairsasha regarding your idea I don't want to upload two different ReShade preset on my page, I don't want to confuse people with a longer description and I'd have to do a second tutorial for yours and to be frank I don't feel like doing it, but, don't be afraid of making your own page it is really simple, I even searched for a quick tutorial in case you don't feel like figuring everything out yourself Mod Publishing Tutorial at Skyrim Nexus - Mods and Community (Its for skyrim but it works the same way and if you don't really understand english you can easily translate the whole page in your browser) if there is something you don't understand you can always come back here and ask me your questions.

Prod80_04_ColorGradient
ArtisticVignette
FilmGrain2
FilmicPass
AmbientLight
ContrastAdaptiveSharpen
The other ones are downloaded by default during the installation of ReShade and I can't do anything about it unfortunately.
Do you have before/after images already taken that you could post? --I don't want to ask you to do more work!
Edit : It has been done!
