The Havulv Galleon has officially switched to Zolantris' ValheimRAFT Continued mod. Please note that some features are still not working perfectly yet, like sail anchor points and physics and some issues with ropes disappearing. Please give Zolantris time to work on the mod and please report any issues related to ValheimRAFT on the mod page for ValheimRAFT Continued. I am not familiar with how the mod works or the coding, I just built a ship to strap onto it. My help with PlanBuild will also be limited as I am not overly familiar with the mod and only use the PlanBuild rune. If you have any issues with the actual build itself, feel free to post them here.
Also this is not mod manager friendly. This install requires accessing your Valheim 'worlds' directory in AppData or your PlanBuild blueprints folder so this install must be manual. Please don't try to install this with a mod manager.
Changes:
- Rebuilt sails on all ship variants in the world files using the updated ValheimRAFT Continued sails. - Redid the PlanBuild blueprints and moved the snap point to the aft of the ship, one tile forward of the stern. - Uploaded edited PlanBuild ship setup walkthrough video. - Made some very minor instance optimizations.
I'm currently wrapping up a large castle build that I may or may not post to Nexus depending on interest and when I'm finished I plan on resuming construction of the next ship in the series, the Havraven, in the next couple weeks. She'll be a medium sized "brig" suitable for up to 6 players and built in a similar style to her larger sister, the Havulv.
The Havulv is finally up for download and I apologize for the delay. This is a VERY detailed build and sadly some of you won't be able to run it. PLEASE don't post about performance or FPS related issues here. I'm well aware and unfortunately these issues are inherent to the ValheimRAFT mod. I'll be building two additional ships to compliment the Havulv, a medium sized "brig" and a smaller "sloop," so all players will have three options available to suit their hardware. You can also check out my Serpent Viking Longship if you're looking for something a little smaller and a little more “Valheimy”. For now, stay tuned and enjoy!
The ValheimRAFT Continued mod has been updated with some new features that have, unfortunately, resulted in imploded ships. If you have the Havulv in your world currently and haven't updated ValheimRAFT Continued post Ashlands, I strongly recommend you remove all personal belongings from inside the ship before updating the mod because your ship will implode after you do. You can use PlanBuild to remove the old imploded ship and place a new blueprint in your world using the updated method (see instructions on main Havulv page courtesy of stuyb). If you already updated, then your belongings are sadly lost in the implosion and good luck recovering them. World files have also been updated to new version if you don't want to mess with PlanBuild again.
I haven’t played Valheim since Ashlands dropped and likely won’t until Deep North. I have no idea if this even works anymore and was having issues with it even when I was still playing. I may take another hard look at this when I have another reason to play, but for now you’re on your own. I’d suggest the Valheimraft nexus page as most of the issues I get here are related to Valheimraft anyway and this is literally just a ship shell to paste on top of one. I have no hand in making Valheimraft so my help is very limited. My videos are probably also outdated by now and I won’t be updating them at the moment, so please don’t message me about it not working.
SO what do I do if i just find my ship destroyed upon loading the world up.. its literally just a bunch of floating items i used the furnished world file that was provided -mod doesnt work dont bother 0/10
I have the problem that no matter how I build the ship, it always ends up underwater up to the deck either immediately or after a short time. I built it according to the instructions and also tried building it on a new raft. Was there some ValheimRaft update that made the old ships no longer playable?
So I wanted to add it to a friend's dedicated server, followed all the steps for the planbuild blueprint version and it just creates the base of the raft with the floating white blueprint on it. The video also does not seem to successfully create the boat. Has someone figured out how to make this work recently?
It is of course the best ship ever in Valheim! period!
Is there a chance to replace "floors are roofs" with earth tiles at the ceiling level? Walls may have a wet look, but that is cool.
Earth tiles have snap points from below now. Covering them with wood becomes even more easy.
Maybe still listing dwarvish pieces as a mod for functionality? Small fermenter and chairs and tables and beds are really nice on ships and they have been in the furniture version of this ship.
Maybe an official ship gate (place on board) would be nice for functionality too.
I tried the method with Planbuild, I attached the Ship to the old raft, but when I do the command "vehicle upgradeShipToV2" it's saying "No v1 raft detected".
I can't find the raft base after enabling V1 raft. I tried spawning it in (MBRaft) but the game always ends up crashing as soon as I touch it. I am using thunderstore for all mods
No options to enable V1 raft in the config manager of ValheimRAFT, can't make it work because copy pasting it on the new raft will not link the boat to the raft..
There are, you need to click advanced settings at the top after you press F1, then look in the ValheimRAFT config section, the advanced settings are highlighted in yellow. I know it's almost been a month already since your post but this might help others too, so posting for posterity.
To recover an imploded raft from 1.0+, if you make yourself admin on your server and use the chat box, type /vehicle recover
That should do a brief hitch and make a new raft. It's just as laggy as it was, though, it doesn't recreate it as a 2.0 raft as far as I know, and there will be some missing pieces, such as ropes and some vertical sail cloths. Did this to remake the raft after mine imploded.

If not can someone update it?
