I have this issue where when I "Extinguish Fire" it takes out all of the fuel may it be wood or resin but it doesn't go to my inventory it's jus gone, and also if I pull out the fuel in "Return Fuel" it will extinguish the fire then take all the fuel without getting it back to my inventory. I tried using different configs but it was all the same.
Before it was working amazing for me but now its bugged or something, idk maybe it's only me but I hope this mod gets fixed again.
This is a great mod, thanks for this! Having an issue now though. It seems like ever since one of the recent updates of Valheim Plus, the fires you put out are back on when you travel away then come back. It used to work flawlessly, you could put fires out, travel away then come back and the fires you put out would still be out. I do have a fire setting in ValheimPlus that allows the fires fuel to remain full at all times but your mod has worked great in the past with this ValheimPlus setting enabled. Anyone else having this issue?
Hey, I have the same problem. Could there be a fix where you include "eternal fires" on your mod, and then I can disable V+'s configs for that? It may be a problem in a dedicated/online server.
Were you able to find anything out? You could collaborate with GoonLou. It seems like the Configurable Fire mod got updated and the changelog lists a fix similar to this issue. Cheers
Hey I really enjoy this mod, but being able to spam items into a fireplace and get coal instantly makes Charcoal Kilns completely redundant. Would it be possible to add a timer and item queue to the fireplace cooking so that charcoal kilns are still useful as they’d generate coal faster?
Is there the possibility of adding surtling core(s) to make it last indefinitely? I like the fact that with this mod you can turn the fires off during the day but when used together with Torches Eternal you can't extinguish fires. Thanks for the mod <3
For information, after deleting a fireplace or wall light I get this error message very time. Seems like the mod dont clean the records.
[Error : Unity Log] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object Stack trace: (wrapper dynamic-method) Fireplace.DMD<Fireplace::GetHoverText>(Fireplace) (wrapper dynamic-method) Hud.DMD<Hud::UpdateCrosshair>(Hud,Player,single) (wrapper dynamic-method) Hud.DMD<Hud::Update>(Hud)
Yes 100% certain, I disabled mods until I narrowed it down to this one. I just disabled all mods aside from this and I still have the FPS drop, it's strange, because I never used to have an FPS drop with this mod.
Edit: Upon further inspection I have found the culprit. "Disable Fires At Certain Times" being set to true, causes this frame rate issue. Setting back to false, fps drop immediately is gone.
extra info: I am running a mod that extends day time. Specifically Day Cycle: https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/98 If it's not something code wise, that would be my guess at a conflict.
Should be resolved in the latest version, some changes had to be made. Unfortunately you won't be able to define custom times anymore. It'll just be 6am and 6pm.
Yeah, I was looking at the options available to the mod, saw that automatic function and though "huh, that's great". Activated and my FPS blummeted to 20, lmao. Glad you found a fix to it.
