Dear Author. Wonderful mod :) Wanted to ask if you're aware of the fact that when using auto-storage for kilns, furnaces etc., these will only deposit ores / coal in your containers if the player is around. If not these get turned off. Any way to work this around?
thats a wierd bug i dont know if i may adress in any form. i have no idea how auto storage works. its a miracle it works at all as 90% of custom storages dont really work well with thsoe storage managment mods
Visual Fabric Shelf breaks on it's own after being placed on wooden floor. This does not happen with stone floor, or when placed on the ground. Valheim v. 0.217.38, BepInEx v. 5.4.22.0
Just updated and very excited for all the new items but it I think it's revealing recipes when it shouldn't. My viking has not touched tar or iron nails yet but I have unlocked recipes that use them.
might be due to changes between mod versions and recipes. or moment when the recipes is being changed. as all recipes start EMPTY so they would auto unlock on start. This still might be a bug so i will look into it. a new version is being at work :)
I miss the ability to use my own recipes, especially since the recipes for these seem unaware of the vanilla game's recipes. For instance, 2 bronze to make 1 potion shelf is silly. Why does the basket use 6 nails? What is being nailed in that model? The models each using the same set of resources is also very weird, like why do some things, like the wood storage and feed trough, use three types of wood? Really, the barrel seems like the only fair recipe and the rest are needlessly complex, non-vanilla style, and expensive for how much storage each offers. The wood shed alone is more expensive than any singular crafting station by itself, like a portal + stone workbench and all it does is store wood. Same with the ore basket; these storage units seem unhinged from the regular gameplay recipes by a long way, and I mean that as feedback.
I would also avoid odd nail numbers in general. Where is the odd nail out going? That's just not how boxes and stuff work. Is there just a random 33rd nail holding a singular corner piece onto the ore basket? Also, barrels use 12 nails irl and many types of barrels use 0 nails.
I feel your original vision of personalized recipes was much fairer to the user and allowed more creativity. I would visit your shipyard recipes for fairer and more vanilla-esque recipes, you did a fantastic job with that mod's expenses. I love this mod and the effort behind it is evident, but these new recipes are rough at best.
Is it possible to turn the item stands into a one slot visible container? The mechanic of having to quickslot items to put up trophies or set out food and tankards is cumbersome.
Experiencing a bug where the bottom three slots of the visual barrel are not accessible. The cursor will not move past the second to last bottom row. Destroying the barrel drops the contents and rebuilding it creates a new barriel but the bottom three rows are still blocked.
Seems like maybe it's modded from a container with three fewer spots?
All of the other rows work as expected. Just that the controller shortcut to jump a stack from one inventory to another puts the moved stack in the bottom left slot, and progresses from left to right, filling the bottom row first.
