Well looks like I finally have my own Valheim mod lol
New or Old, be aware, my support is 1:1 with my interest in the game. When I am bored I will simple post a google drive link to the source. I do not use git, but the source will be made public in the description when I am done (probably 2050, or whenever the next real Elder Scrolls/Fallout game comes out ) hahaha.... I'll be in a fkin walker....
Anyway, unless IronGate changes the chickens, this mod should last for quite a bit.
I mod in single player, and it should be expected for the mods I make to be client side. I will not reply to any server questions. I play solo because Valheim is NOT a multiplayer game at its core, and I do not make server side mods. If it works, GREAT! if not, client side.

Little bit about me though, from the gamer side: ?Valheim is absolutely my favorite game. Viking open world, touch of dungeons... Could use a bit more on the story. Why defeat 4-5 bosses? What happens when you wreck them? Currently? Nothing. Valheim right now is like pulling out before a climax and WALKING AWAY. But we are still Beta so if I can send a mod that points at my direction I will.
Thank you for this mod. The requirement for fire is so f-ing dumb. It's fine for your first two eggs, but after that the hens should keep their eggs warm <3
This mod doesn't touch the distance of the egg spawns, just the requirements and I have no interest in changing the spawn distance of the eggs because I don't build towers. I mod for my gameplay and I play like a natural Viking, and not like Minecraft Skyblock.
Yeah so Chickens are not native to Valheim, right... We unlock an egg after defeating a boss(spoiler block) only sold by the trader. So sure, a fire should be needed to hatch your first two eggs. After that, not a chance. So do I over engineer a simple mod or do I just make it simple... I went with simple. Mod is ideal for my play style, but the config was added to allow more flexibility for others play style. For instance, if no fire no roof is too cheaty, you can increase the grow time.
