Is there a way to disable wood portals?   Portals are a little too easy to get around with and I was looking for a mod to slightly limit them without removing them completely.  If they had to be made of stone and use a stone cutting bench that would help the over use in our server.   But that only works if I have a way to disable wood portals.   Thanks.

Not certain if this is possible or not considering that your mod simply enables the portals in game, but it would be amazing if you could set a config option to only have stone portals able to be linkable to other stone portals. I initially installed this mod hoping to use stone portals as a way to allow late game metal teleportation, while keeping early game grindy and requiring exploration.

Also as a side note, I'm sure that this would be for the AnyPortals dev to fix, but stone portals do not recognize other stone portals with that mod.

Hi! For the issue about AnyPortal, you may consider using XPortal. XPortal is a rewrite of AnyPortal, and today a new version of XPortal was released which addresses this specific problem.

That sounds excellent. Unfortunately I don't have the time to develop this mod.

The portals aren't connecting on my G-portal server. I have the mod installed on the server with config files set up and all. The recipe is correct and I can place portals, but they stay unconnected regardless of the tag. They connect just fine if I open a single-player game and build them there.

from looking at the source code this probably requires a workbench (or nothing) instead of a stonecutter to place, doesn't it? can you maybe add an option that it requires the stonecutter (or maybe even the artisan table) when you get around to updating this if it's not too much work? of course it's really not important, but it would be a nice addition to the config. thank you for your fantastic collection of mods, Jere. You are after all the only reason why my friends group and I are currently playing mistlands on our old world

lovely, thank you, kudos and endorsed as soon as the nexus delay is over. so it really only is the 'm_craftingStation' variable, interesting. did you switch to using a linter or did you do the formating by hand? I can recommend the CodeMaid plugin (with automatic cleanup on save enabled) for C# projects in visual studio if you aren't using it already. I may start modding valheim too in the near future. I'm very familiar with harmony modding from enter the gungeon and stardew valley

There is some built-in formatting in VSCode. It's not super good but more than enough for simple mods.

Do the stone portals that this mod activates actually any functionality or do they operate differently from wood ones? If not, do you plan on adding any functionality to them?

They are just regular portals. Nothing fancy.

Not saying you should do this, because I don't know your modding ability and it'd be rude to just request it; but I think it would be very neat if this version of a portal allowed for ores and such to be taken through it while the regular portals did not. It would make ore transportation a matter of progression rather than just a mod-controlled difficulty option, yknow?

Version 1.1 has this setting on config.
