Tenson's Mod Pack

Tenson's Mod Pack is a collection of small gameplay changes and quality of life improvements that you can enable/disable from the game's Settings menu. It works in solo as well as online but only for the players that have it installed.

The mod should be able to continue working even after minor game updates.

So far the mods included are:

• Use portals with all items (no ore/metal restriction)
• Have infinite inventory weight
• Increase the minimap discovery radius when on foot and when controlling a boat
• Have the weather affect the minimap discovery radius
• Have the time of day affect the minimap discovery radius
• Don't lose skills on death
• Equipped Armor Doesn't Affect Movement Speed
• Command: Reveal the location of the merchant on the minimap (see instructions below)
• Command: Reveal the entire map (see instructions below)
• Command: Reset minimap exploration (see instructions below)
• Command: Reveal boss location (see instructions below)
  

Install Instructions

• Install BepInEx (if you haven't already) by following the instructions here: https://valheim.thunderstore.io/package/denikson/BepInExPack_Valheim/
• Donwload the latest version of this mod
• Extract the zip file to your desktop
• You should now have a folder named TensonModPack on your desktop
• Locate your steamapps folder
• Go to: steamapps\common\Valheim\BepInEx\plugins
• Paste the TensonModPack folder that you extracted on your desktop into the folder
• You can now launch Valheim and enjoy the mod pack :)

How To Use
From the main menu of the game, go to Settings, then click the big "MODS" button on the top right of your screen, you can now enable/disable each mod by clicking on them.

The Weather Affects Discovery Radius option makes it so that weather conditions (rain, snow, mist, storm) will affect the discovery radius (x0.8 in bad weather).
The Time Of Day Affects Discovery Radius option makes it so that the day/night cycle will affect the discovery radius (x0.8 during night).

Final Discovery Radius = (On Foot Radius) * (Weather Modifier) * (Time Modifier)
ex: Final Discovery Radius (x1.6) = On Foot (x2) * Rain (x0.8) * Day (x1)

If you have the Weather or Time Of Day Affects Discovery Radius enabled you can edit their influence in the config file located in steamapps\common\Valheim\BepInEx\config\org.bepinex.plugins.tenson.biggerminimapdiscoveryradius.cfg

Command List
The mod adds some custom commands that you can use (and you don't need to enable the cheats to use them). To use a command go into your world, open the game console by pressing F5, then type the command:

• revealtrader To reveal the location of the trader / merchant on the minimap
• revealmap To reveal the entire map
• resetexploration To reset the minimap exploration (does not remove markers)
• revealboss To reveal a boss location. Usage:
  
  • revealboss 1 Reveals the closest location of the Meadows boss
  • revealboss 2 Reveals the closest location of the Black Forest boss
  • revealboss 3 Reveals the closest location of the Swamp boss
  • revealboss 4 Reveals the closest location of the Mountain boss
  • revealboss 5 Reveals the closest location of the Plains boss
    

Uninstall Instructions
If you encounter any trouble or want to uninstall the mod, simply remove the TensonModPack folder from steamapps\common\Valheim\BepInEx\plugins
