If you really wanted to RP a house Dres plantation owner you can technically configure any NPC to be tamable. Haven't really looked into it myself but https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/1571 this mod might be a good start. I remember seeing on a mod that lets you ride wolves and boar that making other animals tamable was as simple as editing the configuration file.
