Hi buddy! First of all, thanks for this cool mod, as a 3D artist i really appreciate the possibility to customize the visual style of the meshes in game. I have a question. I'm trying to customize the skinned meshes like the armors, and it works but the scale of the pieces in game are always 100 times bigger than how much they should be, no matter what i do in the 3d software. Is there a way to fix it or a workaround?
I have giant static mesh of sword without hitbox in 0 0 position in world, but size of sword correct (in my arm sword have correct size), how i cant fix it
There are a few meshes I can't get to work. The Padded Helmet, Carapace Helmet, and Skoll and Hatti don't seem to load the meshes I place in the corresponding folders. Has anyone had luck replacing these and if so, what exact folder and obj file names did you use?
Are the steps to get this running on the Linux version the same? For some reason the custom textures and meshes don't do anything other than making the particles glitchy. The weapons that should be looking differently look exactly the same as they do without the mod.
When swapping a model for the Silver Sword over to the Blackmetal Sword, the mesh is enormous, 3 or 4 times the size it should be. Is there any recommendation for fixing this? I attempted to shrink the model in Blender but this did nothing it seems. To be specific, this is the mesh from the Frostmourne mod on here, and I want it to replace the Blackmetal sword instead of the Silver (or as well as). So far the two issues I have come across are the size being insane, and the green tint of the blackmetal sword not going away. Tips for both of these would be greatly appreciated.
HI, you need to shrink the model CONSIDERABLY, not just a little, in fact make it tiny and then have a look, then use NOESIS for the final export, after exported from blender. straight from blender did not work for me. Play with the scale, it will work.
Can you be a bit more specific about how to find mesh renderer ids? You say enable debuging via the config file. How do I do that? I searched online but came up empty. I'm trying to replace the blackmetal sword. I'm using one of the mods that replaces the silver sword, but I was hoping to change the folder/file structure to do the blackmetal sword instead.
