Im likely doing something wrong but, ive changed clutter from 45 to 450 and even 4500 by now and grass continues to spawn infront of my eyes (single player).
Does grass require any other tweaks done, maybe to the trees?
I'm also having this same issue. I just downloaded the game again, and for the life of me, I can't remember the grass behaving like that. The "Chuck" effect seems to get worse with some of my mods too, while still being distracting in vanilla. Was there a dev update that broke the grass somehow?
Had the same issue with clutter. In my case it was the mod "ValheimHDTerrain" having a cfg (...BepInEx\config\ValheimHDTerrain.cfg) with the clutter setting which I changed from 40 to 140 .
The force_active command doesnt seem to work, I have some boars in a zone i marked as force_active and they never seem to breed or eat unless im around
jumping in this comment to corroborate. Seems to not be working and I have an automatic breeder, so it should be quite apparent if the command is working or not.
Hi! Do you have plans to upgrade this mode? Maybe game have some thjings for upgrade render bonefire, torches, pit fire and other fire things for see fires on a long distanse , but without fps loss (have it when active area so high (over 9))... I tried change this aspect a few days but failed.

I'm confused about the descriptions info on spawn limit. It says 200 is default but 0 is base game and affects spawns. I'm not finding any boars, deers. Is it because of this?
Without mods, spawn limits are calculated from the loaded area. So if you increase the size of loaded area, you will have more creatures loaded so you will hit the spawn limits more easily.
This is why the mod has a setting to make it based on distance. The default 200 meters is roughly how the game normally works.
Forgive my sounding dumb, but if I'm only intersted in longer grass render distance, which I did by increasing clutter from 45 to 200, what should I have spawn set to? While I didn't toudh anything but clutter and left spawn at 200, all deer, boars, necks stopped spawning.

I'm noticing that when using the LODbias to set it to 5 or 7, the game keep settings it back to lodbias 2 eventually...
Does this mod circumvent that? I just want at least the equivalent of LODBIAS 5, without the game setting it back to 2. Anyone know if this mod make the LODBIAS / draw distance change permanent?
Hi, I'm curious if the changes to Valheim's world generation with the latest patch "Ashlands" will conflict with this mod? It doesn't seem like it should if I understand what this mod does, but I'm cautious by nature. Thanks
Don't think so, if I understand it right, it only changes the distance, the world loads things around you, but I don't know if its broken, because the setting for Lodbias not working as intended.
I installed this mod for the Lodbias 10 Setting, I Had hope that this prevents the game, from reset it all the time. But even with the Mod installed, and Lodbias 10 in the Config. It's still reset after some time.
Doesn't seem to be working in multiplayer. Works fine for me, but the person I'm playing with can't seem to make it work. In his singleplayer game it works fine, but when I host and we play together, it only works for me. Tried having the same configs, doesn't seem to help and it only works for me. Is it only working for a person who's hosting? Any ideas on how to fix this?
Having the same issue here. singleplayer works fine but launching the same world in the server my machine is hosting doesn't work. LOD Bias seems to work for me, but not distant area. The config command doesn't work either despite me being an admin. Any wisdom?

On server, the server probably won't sent the objects anyways.
edit: just to make sure it was not an issue of the breeder, afking there myself does accumulate animals. leaving it to a command has not worked

Only animals need "force active".
