Hi, could we please get an update to this for the new Ashlands update? Also, I've been trying to make it work, but my coding sucks X). Anyways, I've been getting this error when launching the game.
This mod causes my game camera to glitch out uncontrollably when loading into the game world. Not really sure what is happening, but I'd really like to use this mod if anyone knows a fix?
Having the same issue, I tried a couple versions, think there might be a mod conflict with Equipment and Quick Slots, all my gear disappeared (which is why you make backups lol).
THE BEST spear mod, you really should include "spear" in the title so it comes up in searches for those looking for the true functionality of the spear. Seriously, this makes it so much better. Any possibility you can include an alt file that increases the throw damage multiplier for the spear?

1 issue though, why lock them to 2-handed?
ideal would be to have then switch attack patterns when equipped solo as 2-handed and with a buckler/shield as 1-handed i'm not sure if this is possible, haven't coded any mod my self but spear was often used with a shield too, not a great example but movie "300" depicts that combat style and a troll absolutely wrecks me in troll armor when i don't have my buckler as i'm used to have my spear as my mine weapon i suddenly need to re-learn entire combat for 2-handed no shield no blocking only evasion that's harsh and not the combat style i choose
so please, allow 1-h spears to the same spear to switch from 1-h to 2-h and back when you equip a buckler or shield or as Majeck below suggested a 1-h spear variant to craft separately from 2-h variant
It make me so happy to see someone cares about spears as they should be, always useless in games. Great mod, looking forward to the throwing animation, cause right now, it's hilarious.
Spears always seemed crap to me from irongate, spears should have a higher attack range, they should push, when thrown it should have a range similar to the bow, but unfortunately these mechanics have not been fixed by irongate. In my opinion it would have been a good weapon to start with, but in reality it is terrible.
I know vanilla spears aren't amazing weapons, but I really like them for certain applications. Throwing a spear does a nice amount of damage, and hunting birds with thrown spears is a hobby of mine ;) -- They attack really fast, the ancient bark spear and the fang/tooth spear are just nice secondary weapons. All this to say, is there any chance you'd leave the single-handed spear as is, and add another two-hander? I would love to use your mod, but I don't want to lose the one-handed spear I love.
i know they arent breaking the game..just saying there are warnings ^^.
I have 1 question tho...could you adjust the atgeir unarmed attack ?...it looks kinda of imo...naturaly you look at the tip but the tip is way to the left because of the unarmed move... wouldnt it look better if you used the upper hand spear attack for the unarmed atgeir attack? just a thought \o/..why use hands if you are holding an atgeir :P.
beond that ..great mod and wil test on multiplayer and come back to you \o/
Oh, right, I just removed those warnings in patch 1.0.3 Also with the fixed atgeir position it may look better, I should just probably try fixing the weapon trace to a different point, as well
P.S. spear swing actually sounds like a decent idea, I'll check out to see how well it makes a chain

The mod needs some minor changes tho..but i am quite sure he wil fix them \o/
I'll add the configurations later on to be able to set up things you actually want to change, though.

The "spear swing" sounds nice indeed \o/.
I see one issue tho....the harpoon now animates as the spear and you throw the line when doing a spear thrust lol.
