I guess I'm a little late to the party. I am trying to build this in vanilla on a server (can't use BuildShare or PlanBuild) and I am having problems with making the roof. Do you have an overhead view of the roof so I can see how it's constructed? Side views of the roof don't give enough info(?) for me to understand the construction.
A bit late at the time, as my answer probably is now. I no longer had the save and the various files by the time of your question.
From what I recall though, the roof was basically just hollow, pyramid topped boxes if that makes sense: Mostly 26* corners and roof pieces on top of the wood walls, with the occasional inverted one in between where there would otherwise be gaps. The corners of each 'box' would be supported underneath by a wood pole. The middle bit was just built 1 wall higher and capped with 45* roof pieces.
If the required mods are installed correctly, then there should be a button that says 'BuildShare' on the left side of the screen in-game. It's visible in the screenshots. You need to be able to click on it, personally I'd suggest using a hammer and opening its craft/build menu to gain access to the cursor. After that the build gui should appear, you may need to drag it away from the 'BuildShare' button underneath it in order to close it.
Have just tested and confirmed it is still currently working. The game does tend to freeze up a bit when building but that should be a hang, not an actual crash and should sort itself out eventually.
If it is actually full on crashing and not just being slow, that would suggest to me either a hardware issue which I unfortunately can't really help with, (maybe turn graphics down or background tasks off while placing builds and turn them back on after?) or that the required build mod itself isn't installed correctly.
If you still have the game & mods installed, try building something smaller first or create a build of your own and placing that and seeing what happens.
