      I dont think its needed any more as raids are now a game menu configuration setting.

    For a dedicated server, will this mod work without having all the people who join the server installing it?  Meaning it can work as a purely server only mod? Thank you!

      You will need to test on your server:

      A user reported workaround is to blunt force trauma disable ALL random base attacks events on dedicated servers by setting:

      ModifyEventChance = true
      EventChance = 0
      ModifyEventIntervalMin = true
      EventIntervalMin = 999999

    Is there a way to disable events only in meadows? I want to make a dedicated server where Meadows are safe from random events so that people don't get interrupted building stuff there, but events would still happen in any other biome. If there is a way to do this, what would the config file look like?

      That would not be a config file, it would be a whole new biome triggered mod ... if it is even possible.

      Thought removing meadows from the biomes list would mean that this event would happen in Swamp,BlackForest,Plains but not Meadows. What is the biomes condition for then?

      am I wrong in thinking this implies you can set specific biomes in which events can happen and that excluding a biome means the entity would not spawn there?

      Couldn't I theoretically make a custom config that doesn't allow any events in meadows if I thought outside of the box and was creative? Or is it absolutely impossible?

      I have no idea, that content is nothing to do with this mod.

      You will see EVERYTHING to do with this mod on the mod description page. 

      The mod description does not include any of that stuff.

      You may as well be asking if this mod will do your tax returns for you.

    This mod works great! Does it disable Serpent spawns in the Ocean biome? I don't see a setting for it anywhere in the config, but I've got probably 50-60 hours on my current playthrough (with LOTS of sailing) and I haven't come across a single serpent, night, rain, or day.

      No this does not disable Serpents as their spawns do not (or did not when the mod was last updated in 2022)  use the build area targeted raid random event system.

      Thanks for the reply. I tried disabling this mod and immediately ran into 2-3 serpents over the next hour or two of gameplay. So, I think this mod might unintentionally disable serpent spawns (as an "event").

      This is my setup file, I'm pretty sure everything is on "default," then all the raid events are changed to false.

      ## Set the EventChance value (if valid)

      Well if only the individual named raid events are set, and those named events are affecting the sea serpent things there is frankly f*#@ all I can do about that.

    ty very much,i was so pissed with this troll shaker BS,really why the f this was even a thing. enemies that ignore all defenses/gully and just walk in and smash my base. with huge AOE attacks. dumbest event in VM

      Like all your other bepInEx based mods, extract the file to ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Valheim\BepInEx\plugins
