Game Difficulty: The default setting of the overall game and bosses is "Hard" and for end game-ish level gear. If you are venturing with vanilla gear, things will be very hard, so build an enchanter and augmenter right away and find haldor so you can start running treasures and bounties and buy magic gear. Making your legendary Gold Ruby Ring is the most important part of the Epic Engdame.
You can also lower the difficulty to cater to your playstyle till you have some gear.
Press F1 to change game difficulty settings in CLLC. Only things I recommend changing are: Change number of stars to None for easy , 1 for medium, 3 for hard, 5 for very hard. Change Boss spawning chance with additional stars to 0 or whatever percent you think you can handle.
Selling and Making gold: just a note, haldor is currently configured to buy several interesting items like Trophies, Metal, Treasures, Chitin and many more.. This includes cooked food and fermented items to provide an opportunity for cooks to earn money by selling, fermenting surplus food. To avoid selling food you would normally eat, just remove them from your inventory before selling to Haldor. You can change these settings in the SellThat buying config.
Miscellaneous: Water Walking and Serpentsbane is currently broken and will not work with Hearth and Home in Epic Loot. Using water walking or Serpentsbane will crash or lag you so either roll out of it, or use other items.
Question, I am trying to use the tresure maps but everywhere I dig there is never any treasure anywhere. Am I doing something wrong ? I assume the tresure is under the ground but there could be some above ground thing that im just missing.
Really nice pack man! But we have a problem, epic loot causes huge desync, any ideas how to fix it? If there are more than 2 players playing in the server it becomes unplayable... :(
is it a fresh playthrough or did they have some epic loot items to start? I have heard some sync and fps issues with certain items like ragnar set or water walking in a server. Try removing all gear and see if the sync issue goes away. Though I have not had it happen to me yet
Edit: I did reproduce the issue, it has to do with the ragnar set. Currently you can not use water walking or the Ragnar Battleaxe (Serpents Bane) after H&H . fix is to remove these items from character and log out, then exit the game and log back in.
Note that you can still use 2 piece ragnar set, its the 3 and 4 piece bonus that causes an issue. Heimdall set seems fine though

Epic Loot sends large amounts of data to the server and back to the clients, causing a shitload of desync. Here's a deep conversation about why and how to fix it:
dude its a blast. My friends all have 1000+ hours clocked with this setup. As for streaming and youtube.. I used to do all those things but I am sorta retired from it all. Best way would be to give it a go yourself. Though I might come out of retirement and make a few gameplay vids. Thanks for the ping!
afaik V+ works with Randy and Ty's mod so it should be fine. I purposefully chose a select few mods only to create a minimal endgame infrastructure.
Also as a heads up, Creature Level and Loot Control has been "hidden" from NexusMods as of a few days ago, so you'll have to go over to Thunderstore.io to obtain it separately if you want to run the Epic Endgame setup.
Not sure if anyone else is having this issue...but when I have the required mod "Sell That" enabled, haldor does not have the bounties window, even though epic loot seems to be working. Disablinging Sell That makes the bounties show up.

Upon further testing, this issue happens with only epic loot and Sell That installed, so it's most likely an issue with Epic Loot & Sell That. I'll post on Epic Loots comments and see what happens, and respond here if I find a resolution.
have you tried going into settings and reducing scale size? last tab, big slider, try around 85% or less. i have seen where the sell window and the bounties window take up too much room so it just doesnt show up till you reduce the scaling.
I enjoy the diffculty but the 2-star boss with life regeneration give me no chance to win. i shoot 200 arrow and it is keeping recovery. How to defeat veryhard boss? i'm ready for hit and run, but the regeneration i just cant beat.

Is the treasure always directly on the X ?

Bows have a long attack time and don't do as much DPS as melee.
Learn to dodge, block, and parry properly.
