My Rx Vega 8 integrated graphics on my Ryzen 7 laptop went from 15fps to 25-30. It's not nearly as pretty but so much better response time when doing combat! Thank you.
Where will Custom Textures help them? When he had FPS drops, with the Vanilla game, and use this mod to lower some Value to improve the FPS. It's of course looking bad in comparison with Vanilla, but use Custom Textures then, will revert the fps increase.
Or what do you think happened, when he replaces the vanilla textures, with higher custom textures?
Damn, that's weird... Running a Geforce 650 Ti BOOST myself, which is about 50% worse across the board, not using this mod or turning down any settings, and I get about that. Did you try fiddling with the settings yourself first? Increasing draw distance actually helps FPS, not hurts it, as well, last I heard.
I should have said. @1440p while looking at as dense a forest as possible as a stress test. that 40-50 is the basement. If I am just doing normal stuff zoomed in or inside it's 80+
Increasing draw distance will always be more taxing on systems. That is the literal equivalent of saying "You will get tired slower carrying more weight." On some systems where the computer is extremely high end, it may help them by reducing lag spikes or evening the spikes- but these people that are looking for an FPS boost are not running super high end PC's and this advice would only serve detrimentally, also I've checked online and no one has said that a higher draw distance increases FPS- in fact it is plastered everywhere that it decreases FPS universally.

Can I play normally when I don't have the mod?
Thanks for listening!!!
