I'm going to give a quick guide on how to generate new locations for your existing world, so you won't need to create a new world and start over.
Ores seem to spawn normally without any user interaction needed, but only in areas you haven't explored. Altars and Vegvisirs don't seem to spawn anywhere regardless of whether you've explored the area or not.

I remember that the only way for the creatures to spawn was Only After you had defeated the last boss in the progression which was at the time HelDemon. Right now I'm not too sure about the progression. Is it now Mistlands > Deep North > Ashlands or Mistlands > Ashlands > Deep North? The point to the questioning is because I would like to be able to have my players including myself, go to the ocean biome (at night because that is the only time it spawns) and farm up Abyssal ore, but not be locked behind the LAST boss. Is there a way to make the change? I couldn't see a config file that would allow me to do that.
Can I get a dumbed down version of this mod with just the creatures? No plants no dungeons. Can it add the creatures like the other creature mods do where I don't have to generate a new world, type in a code, or anything else except use Belpinex Manager F1. And could it have options in Belpinex Manager like the other creature mods where I can decide where it spawns and if hostile, etc.
I don't want anything except more mobs in my world.

To get started, install this mod Upgrade World.
After these steps, I can confirm that all these locations will be added throughout the world to unexplored areas and explored areas.

You can also generate locations without the need for Upgrade World by following these steps:
Using genloc will only generate locations in unexplored areas, while upgrade EVA will generate them in both unexplored and explored areas.
it is not very clear what is the latest Valheim version that this mod can run on.
I am using epic loot and CreatureLevelAndLootControl and I wanted to add this mod, I'm just not sure if it will work correctly.

Then used the EVA_upgrade command with Upgrade world, nothing new is showing up in Ashlands.
Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

How long does it take to finish? mine is taking ages for add_vegitation to get to 100%
after a while the FPS drops to unplayable levels and then I have re-load and old world save.
can I exit the game before EVA_upgrade is executed?
