I know this is not the place but did you create the MoD Restore Server Ore 3.0.0 if so, is there any way you could update it? it still works but its a bit buggy as of late.

I think it is the best mod to increase performance, but I have problems to reactivate the option for the character to float or swim, if anyone has a solution for this problem, greetings...

Spams the hell out of my console with: [Error : Unity Log] MissingMethodException: void IWaterInteractable.SetLiquidLevel(single,LiquidType) Stack trace: (wrapper dynamic-method) WaterVolume.DMD<WaterVolume::Update>(WaterVolume)

    :(

Great mod really, low end livesaver. One question/suggestion: Would it be possible to enable/disable specific weather effects? For example my rig doesn't have problems with rain/storms but completely chokes when a snowstorm hits, is it something doable or very complex?

OR a way to lower the particle count would be even better... that way you could still experience the weather, but without a gpu crippling amount of particles on older systems...

Updated v2.0. Now all options configurable and you can test how it will be better for you on your PC.
+ Each option now can be enabled/disabled via GUI or .cfg
+ Press F10 in game to open GUI for enabling/disabling options
(if you want to see torch lights => ENABLE LIGHT FLICKERING)

Some options need game to restart (weather effects)

Light flickering is what does it for me in FPS increase.. BUT, i realized it's not the light from the torch, but the light from the fireplaces the ones that get my fps down.. torches don't do anything to my fps.
so, would there be a way to disable light for everything else except torches? thank you in advance, this mod is the best.

What a great mod!  My potato thanks you this made the game much more playable for me.  The customizable settings are key and a really nice addition.  For example, I wanted to see the tracers for arrows so I turned particle effects on and can still keep most of the other graphical settings down to ultra low.

Downloaded this after your update v2.0. Thank you ever so kindly for this work.

I went from 60 to 80 fps, and i can even move render distance to High instead of Medium or Low, and even when playing with my friend, im still getting 60 fps in our main base.
Whats funny is, it seems all my stutters has been removed, i was able to get 40-60 fps before as well (with low / medium render distance) but this feels infinitely better.
My graphics was cranked all the way down anyway so i practically see no difference here.

    MUCH APPRECIATED, this is HUGE.

    Current Rig:
    i7 7700k
    Nvidia Geforce 1080 founders edition
    32gb ram
2x Samsung 850 evo in Raid.

    Edit for usage findings:
Arrows are extremely hard to see without the trail effect, would be great to have options to enable which trail effects are removed individually.

Epic mod love the work, Please make the options to toggle them. It would be soooo nice to see at night in my base. lol P.s ive tryed soo many
mods for fps. This is the only mod allowing me to play this game at a
solid 20fps on linux now i can even play with mods... I do thank you good sir!!!!

    Ignore this if not needed,
the char Color was really nice and you made the things pop really nicely,
If you can make the fireplaces, torchs, sconces, etc produce light but keep the rest off or togglable thus giving light where the player needs it at night but keeping the rest dark as it is??  that still gives some scary feeling still when a hoard of elemental greylings comes outave the bushs at night but the torch would give the player light but keep the rest of the forest dark so i can at least see the hoard a little before the hit me. idk  lol
the weather...... i can hear it but not see it, eather turn rain off completly if possible(including wet buff) or again toggle button??
lol no comment on the ocean stuff.... i vote toggle mode..
Havnt gotten to fishing or w.e yet but so far i can play valheim modded with over 29 plugins without stutter at like 40-60fps..

Making this mods stuff togglable will be a huge boon to having a bunch of mods going for players. please do it

If mod will be useful I will add 30+ config values so you can enable/disable each optimization option if you need to. Feel free to report any bugs here or in BUGS
Also please tell me your results before/after

Mod is insanely useful, thank you. Please do add the options, I can see a time I may need a fish or something :)

i've not seen another mod that does what this does, Fancy bits all gone, But 4 weeks into this current play using a home serve to coop, Running 72 other mods, The chase for FPs is constant.
      1 rig running a Ryzen 5 2600x 16gbRam Rx590 1440p  One rig running Phenom II 965 10GBRam Rx570 1440p

This made both much, much smoother. + 30 frames(100) on Ryzen +15 on the old man cpu. (40-50)

      working well with https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/1205?tab=description

update: Windmill possibly not spinning or outputting anything.
