LOTR themed buildings on the MIDDLE EARTH BC seed by billw - 2.0
All buildings were made by me, sometimes with extensive landscaping around them. They were all inspired by the drawings of Professor Tolkien, the LOTR films and a LOT of Valheim build videos.
The builds were done on Vanilla Valheim with minimal mods, so they should work on almost all configurations (no forever build needed).
:: GENERAL INFORMATION ::
• When you land on the starting point, look around to find the small teleport hut nearby
• Teleport to Rivendell to get to all builds (there is a teleport hub)
• In the "loot" version all builds are fully equipped and mostly stocked, so you can start playing right away.
• I tried to have all builds as self-contained units - although in the case of Rivendell there is an extra small plains farm for those items.
• Orthanc and Lothlorien are destinations without any farming.
• Moria was extended to a full build, which is boldly modelled after a build by Caprain chaos (thanks for the permission).
:: REQUIREMENTS ::
• Latest version of Better Continents Mod
:: FEATURES ::
• All vanilla workstations and storage for them
• Fully equipped kitchens and custom storage
• Care was taken to have the most available Rested bonus, e.g. all dragon beds
• All builds and trader reachable by teleport
• Most builds are self contained and play ready
:: DEFENCE ::
Almost all builds are easily defended:
• You have to open the door from the ground and jump up to get into the start hut
• Rivendell has a wide perimeter stone fence around it, except where you need to cross a bridge, which has spaced logs so enemies cannot use it
• Lothlorien also has a wide perimeter stone fence
• The Hobbit Home is in the meadows and has a simple garden fence around it
• Orthanc is also stone fenced
• Edoras in the plains is built on a hill, has a sturdy palisade topped stone wall around it and can only be accessed by a spaced log path
• Helms Deep and Minath Tirith have mighty walls around them and steep mountains at their backs
• The Mines of Moria have a sturdy door and a teleport - the actual mines cannot be reached without that
• The plains farm has a high palisade fence - and uses almost all of the plains on that spot
• The hidewaway house can only be reached by teleport
:: NO LOOT::
The builds are fully equipped and mostly stocked in the "loot" version, but that's it, you don't gain any advantage in installing this.
If you prefer to use the builds without any premade food or storage, use the "empty" version please.
