I added this to my game, with mods like Better Trader, Terraheim, MonsterLabs and of course Epic Loot.
Before I added the file for Terraheim and MonsterLabs, my gear had enchantments and colour grades like rare and legendary. When I added the mod, all that went away.
The colours grades and enchantments had been stripped, an enchanting table vanished and a magical treasure detecting ring I bought from Holdor, went missing too.
Did I mess something up? Or am I missing an important detail?
Hi! I love the idea of this mod and I wanted to tweak it so creatures will only drop shards of varying rarity somehow.
I tried playing with it but my inventory was quickly overflowing with reagents, dust, essence, etc.
I think it would be more practical if they only dropped shards so you could craft them into reagents/dust/essence or whatever you'd need when you get back from exploring, but I'm very new to scripting and not sure which lines to change. Any tips on what I can do! Thanks!
Do I add the moster labz.json file to my Epic loots folder or do I replace the existing one? I am wanting to ONLY get my monster labz files to drop loot, not change all drops to materials
Hi! Just found the mod and boy did this reduce the time for me to look for the Terraheim and MonsterLabZ Item and Mob IDs.
I'm also gonna add the Hugo armory and judes equipment to the loottable. Only to some significant mobs. I'm using the DoOrDie singleplayer modlist. It's actually pretty awesome.
Thanks for this! My playthrough will be much more convenient!
You're welcome) I think the original loot system of the "Epic Loot" mod is too easy to pass and therefore made it a little more complicated and interesting)
Hi, I love the mod, it truly makes everything much more balanced and rids me of the process of having to disenchant equipment every time I return to my base, seriously, it was annoying.
But, is there a way to increase the materials' drop chance?
While I am happy to get them from mobs, for some reason the chance of getting enchanted stuff before adding this was low, and it seems to be moved to the chance of getting materials as well. Making the whole process still tedious and grindy.
Hello) I increased the chances of ingredients falling out by default) I don't see any point in increasing even more, because by the time you can build improvements for the forge to enchant and remove enchantments, you already have a lot of ingredients accumulating. Plus, higher-quality ingredients fall from bosses and with a greater chance - this is an additional incentive to call them more often) But if there are more specific suggestions for improvement, then I am ready to listen)
